Has he given up sacks this year?

If so, it's time to look the 800 pound gorilla straight in the eyes and confront it.....10 speed?

No not many sacks at all. How much speed is enough?

I would train it to 25 and see how happy you are with it. I'd say 48 but there's alot of debate on that. 35-40 at least, though. Either way, I wouldn't invest points in it until 25, but at least train it.

I'll be direct, though this is all opinion.

RT 40 speed is fine. 10 is not. Either normal train it or pair it with agility. If you don't pair it with agility, +4 with your SP. If you train normal (shop?), +8 vision. Move equip to either even or 3:1 strength. Try it, atleast. To answer the "why" question, it is because I feel strength helps push the defender back, and that 80 blocking and 87 blocking really doesn't make any difference, while an extra 7 strength can open bigger holes.

W R O N G You haven't gone up against a 95-100 agility, 75 speed DE.

RDE must have high blocking plus agility. I had to move all of my equipment out of my ROT to stop those DEs from getting sacks. He now has 94 blocking and 56 agility, and it is working for now. But I'm pumping all my sp into agility until it is 68. Also have speed of 43.5, vision of 42, and confidence of 40. Want to get all of those capped, but agility will come first.

This is what happens to a 95 strength, 74 blocking, 54 agility ROT.

Train speed to 40, spd/sta on intense the whole way. Put all your SP into agility until it's at the 2nd cap (61). I'd probably move one piece of eq from blocking to strength.

I told him to work on agility in a sound way that allows him to either train it with speed, or put his points in it. I told him to go 80/80 on str/blk. Don't get what you're boldly stating I'm so wrong about. You're showing a 94 str / 74 blk / 54 agi OT. I think that needs up to 80 blk and over 60 agi. Then any smart OT would equip +8 agility instead of 8 of their str when they knew they were matching up against an agility rusher.

I'm putting all my equipment into one or the other. I am getting the vibe that it should be strength? I need to know soon. We have a HUGE game tomorrow!

You told him to move equipment to even or 3:1 strength and that 80 blocking vs. 87 blocking doesn't make a difference. It can make a huge difference. I recently had to change my OT from 75 strength, 82 blocking, 60 agility, to 66 strength, 94 blocking, 57 agility in order to effectively block the top pass rushing DEs in our league. Of course I have a ROT. LOT can use protect SA so blocking and agility doesn't have to be as high.
