That is funny, and also the reason why everyone doesn't get a vote.

I wasn't here last season, but I think we should do this with the same rules as far as only owners and/or GMs be allowed to vote.

Yes, we have some good HBs in our conference. I would say that Okoye will jump a fair amount after tomorrow's game against the Cocks. This is a game which other teams have played already and should be worth at least 300 yards rushing for him. Plus his TD total was the kicker for me.

Cates has done a fab job, his game against the Corn Huskers was pretty fantastic. He has a v good QB supporting him but that WR corp is fairly ordinary compared to others. So on a middle of the road team, Cates gets the nod for me.

My logic on that was that their O-Line has pretty much been the best in the league and I thought most of them deserved recognition. Even though he plays center as a guard, I figured he would be interchangable on the probowl voting. He is a higher rated player than their other 20 something guard and it is a slight assumption that he has a decent build. Who know's he may be a high agility pass protect guard playing center. There's no telling if he's played there all season. Well, there may be, but I'm not sure where to look lol. All I know is that their O line has outperformed everyone else and their key guys deserved recognition. it is no slight towards Ray who I'm sure is a great player in his own right.

PS: I didnt look at pancakes at all, just team rushing averages and sacks given up.

I would like to see Ray's build. I don't think Hiruma's build is that good for a Lvl 32 C:

Strength: 78.3 Blocking: 75.72
Speed: 14 Tackling: 19.89
Agility: 42.63 Throwing: 9
Jumping: 7 Catching: 9
Stamina: 38.79 Carrying: 9
Vision: 33.11 Kicking: 7
Confidence: 33.99 Punting: 9

That vision is pretty low. Actually comparing him to my own Lvl 27 center and I think I have him covered for everything but a bit in strength and a small amount of confidence.

I hear ya. I didn't look at his build. I was rewarding the unit for doing so well since using pancakes to judge a lineman's talent isnt something I like to do and I didnt think his build would be open lol.

yeah after Okoye rushed for 500+ yds and 14 TDs I may be changing some of my picks after the season is over.

This isn't a criticism as I agree that voting should be based on games played and not stats alone.
But am I missing something here? Hiruma is a center with 44 pancakes but plays most plays v ONLY RAY THAT COUNTS MARTIN who has 219 pancakes from only 517 plays (admittedly 161 v the 2 crap teams).

I understand your point, but pancakes are the most useless stat in GLB imo. I know my DE is licking his lips whenever he comes up against an OT with a lot of pancakes.
