Baring a miracle, we are down to 9 teams for 8 playoff spots. 5 teams have a shot at a home playoff game. Not many shake ups this week but 4 of the top 5 teams face each other in this up coming week. On to the rankings.

1. (0) Tallahassee Seminoles 10-1
Hopefully the Noles made the most of what was basically a week off against the Esquimaux in between their win against the Titans and their upcoming game verse the Eh's. They will need to bring their A game if they want to hold onto this spot for another week. Despite the fact that their 3 games after this one are against decent opponents, this week will probably be their last test for the year and decide the number one seed for the playoffs.

2. (0) Toronto Eh's 11-1
The Eh's are tied with the Seminoles for the longest win streak in the conference at 10. One team will forfeit that streak this week and it is anybody's guess whether the Eh's show up like they did in their 56-7 beat down of the Valiant or resemble the team that gave up a 56 yard TD with 13 seconds left to lose to the Titans. I predict a hard fought battle like the one they had against USAORG way back in week 2, but I'm not going to give away which way I think it will go.

3. (0) Vancouver Valiants 10-2
Vancouver's toughest games are in the past and going 2-2 against the other top 5 teams is pretty impressive. They should finish the rest of the way undefeated and ride an 8 game winning streak into the playoffs. The Strikers have a shot at the upset but I am more inclined to believe the Valiant will be using that game to stay sharp for the playoffs and I can't imagine they would be caught unprepared.

4. (0) USAORG Titans 10-2
The Titans have a chance to prove that they were worthy of the top spot in the rankings a few weeks ago with a big game against the Hurricanes this week. They took it easy on the Bandits this afternoon but I don't see them letting this one slip away. The Titans will bring everything they have to the table in their last test of the season. A loss would make them 3-3 in their last 6 games.

5. (0) North Vancouver Hurricanes 10-2
The Hurricanes are 0-2 against the top 4 teams that they have played so far. They have two more chances to prove they are an elite team and a big one is scheduled this week. The Titans are coming into the Hurricane Den and the Canes are looking to stop history from repeating itself. Last season the Titans won by a convincing 15 points in the first week of the season, but its a new month and a new team that they are up against this time. I know everyone in North Vancouver is looking forward to it.

6. (0) Thunder Bay Strikers 8-4
The Strikers have looked good through two weeks. The Current aren't a pushover and beating the Turtles must have felt good. They will be looking to keep up that consistency against the down trodden Washemplae this week. Anything less than a 3-1 finish would be disappointing but its not guaranteed. The Gigantes will be fighting for their playoff lives in week 15 and the Washemplae will still be playing for pride.

7. (+1) Oshawa Turtles 7-5
Even though it was only the Permanent Waves, the Turtles were impressive in their win and it must have felt good to halt that three game slide they were on. They have 2 more chances to live up to their potential with games against the Seminoles and Hurricanes left on the schedule, but it is more realistic that they will lose those two games and go 2-2 over the final quarter of the season. They will still make the play offs though and anything can happen from there.

8. (-1) Niagara Current 6-6
It has been a nice turn around for the Current as they posted 4 more wins this season that they had last. A winning record is all but guaranteed but they have to wonder what could have been just a little bit. Every one of their losses has been within 13 points except their game against the Valiants. They should make the playoffs where things could get very interesting for them. They have a potential playoff preview against the Seminoles in week 15.

9. (0) Saskatchewan Gigantes 6-6
Being the last team out of the playoffs is never what you want to be, but these guys would probably have to pull off two unlikely upsets to capture that 8th seed. Nope, they'll be headed home when the postseason rolls around but they played a good game against the Washemplae last week and if they could pick up a win in Thunder Bay, they would have something else to hang their hats on besides their victory over the Turtles.

10. (0) Winnipeg Washemplae 4-8
Brutal loss to the Gigantes, they just haven't been able to live up to their potential and official elimination from the playoffs would only be a formality at this point. Their game against the Strikers in the upcoming week should be something they look forward to as it is a good chance for them to play for some pride. Other than that they have two cupcakes and the mighty Seminoles, so this will be their last chance to test their mettle.

11. (0) Bad Harbour Hackers 4-8
Their win against Thunder Bay is about all they have to show for this season. They should pick up two more wins against lower tier teams but will probably be crushed by the Titans and the Ehs. 6-10 isn't so bad right?

12. (0) Queen City Bandits 3-9
They should pick up a win this week against the Esquimaux but that is pretty much the end of their season. An upset against the Current could end their season with a bang but it is tough to imagine. 4-12 will be their fate.

13. (0) Grise Forde Icicles 3-9
Not much really happening in the conference as most of the bad teams played good teams so there wasn't a lot of opportunity for movement. The Icicles are a prime example of this as they were crushed by the Eh's as expected. Their winning days are in the past and they probably won't even get close to the Washemplae or the Current.

14. (0) Bosphorus Oftas 2-10
They were a pretty good team last season, going 13-3 but they weren't able to build off of it this time around. It is not very likely that their win total will be able to match last season's loss total as three seems to be a little high with who they have left on their schedule. Hopefully they'll turn it back around.

15. (0) Arctic Blubberin' Esquimaux 1-11
They don't even have a realistic chance against the Bandits in their upcoming game. Another abysmal season for Canada BBB #8 Eastern conference cellar dweller.

16. (0) Toronto Permanent Waves 0-12
If the Bills ever do move to Toronto, lets hope they put together a more competitive team than this squad. The Waves, who won four games last season, missed their one opportunity for a win in week 10 and now they are probably going to race the Detroit Lions to see who can rack up 16 losses quicker.

Hardly any movement at all this week, but things will shake up a lot more after the next batch of games. Thanks to anyone who checks these out.

I don't think it would be a "shock" if the turtles went very deep in the playoffs honestly! I think the top 4-5 teams in our conference have a great shot at winning it all! And all 8 teams in the playoffs will be tough match ups!
