The playoffs approach and seedings start to become clearer in the next few weeks but for the time being only the Nikopolis Stoic Hedonists are eliminated yet, although realistically there are about 11 teams in the mix. This week saw two safeties, 3 HBs with over 2000 yards, the game with the fewest points scored in a game with 5 total points, the most points scored and the largest margin of victory ever in the conference, one of the leagues most exciting games between two playoff hopefuls and the second straight East Cairo victory over a team with 8 wins.

København Hühnerfalken (8-3) at Stockholm Black Death (9-2) 34-6

For the second time in the last three games the Kyrkogården is the scene of a Black Death loss this time at the hands of the Hühnerfalken. København controlled the game from start to finish going up 27-0 before allowing the first of two field goals which comprised all of Stockholm's scoring. The København HBs Truck Norris & Stampede Jones were very competent in the game combining for 195.5 yards and 3 TDs.

Heidelberg Hitmen (4-7) at Torpedo Cowthorpe (9-2) 13-23

Every once in a while a player simply takes over a game. That was the case in this game as Torpedo HB Micro Lab3 broke 19 tackles on the way to 232.5 yards and a TD on the way to a solid Cowthorpe win. Micro Lab3 converted 5 times on third down and once on fourth down and helped Torpedo keep the Hitmen from ever having the lead. Heidelberg LB Jack Strawe was very disruptive with 12 tackles, a sack and two forced fumbles but the Hitmen offense was never able to get going.

iue5 acolytes (8-3) at East Cairo Argonauts (5-6) 23-34

Okay, maybe twice in a while. East Cairo's stud HB TwinkleToes Hillsowski was equally devastating in this game racking up 217 yards, 19 broken tackles and 3 TDs as the Argonauts beat their second team at the top of the standings in the last two weeks. The East Cairo defense swarmed after the acolytes QB Donovan Martinez, hurrying him 4 times and sacking him 4 times.

Vatican City Fighting Popes (7-4) at Nikopolis Stoic Hedonists (1-10) 41-7

Schmuckkästchen was once again filled with the sullen tears of defeat as the Fighting Popes beat the Hedonists like a whore in the town square in Saudi Arabia. The Popes stud RB Da Speed was the third conference back to amass over 200 yards and also contributed 3 TDs in the win. Nikopolis was held to just 54.5 yards on the ground and Vatican City DE Dess Troy was able to generate a lot of pressure with 6 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble.

Ingolstadt Hat Tossers (7-4) at Cambridge Chieftains (6-5) 47-17

The Hat Tossers hand the Chieftains a tough loss at University Field as the Ingolstadt backs totaled 357 yards and 4 TDs on the ground. The Chieftains jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and things looked grim for the Hat Tossers until QB Dissect the D's touchdown scoring pass to "Irish" Micky Ward for 17.5 yards to cut the lead to 3. Ingolstadt went on to score an additional 33 consecutive points, scoring in all three phases of the game with a safety and a defensive TD when FS Mike Kettell once again forced a fumble that was once again recovered by LB Carl Yamster and once again run back for 6 much like the replay from week 9.

Natural Born Killers (6-5) at Passion Fruits (7-4) 42-44

The Killers and Fruit rocked the Fruit Stand with this epic game which saw the home team Passion win the game with just 0:19 seconds left when K WuTang IsForTheKids nailed it between the uprights from 33.5 yards out. Passion QB iBomb Atomically only completed 3 passes but 2 of them went for TDs and the Fruit RBs managed to break 26 tackles but they never managed to put the game out of contention. NBK had to be feeling pretty great when QB Harry Twatter hit a long pass to Felix Quick for 72.5 points and the go ahead score with just 1:46 on the clock in the fourth quarter but their defense was shredded on the final drive and as the Passion Fruits set up for the final score heads could be seen hanging on the NBK sidelines as they have only beaten one opponent with a winning record this season.

Warfield Hellbringers (5-6) at Red River Ruminants (3-8) 5-0

The Hellbringer and Ruminant defenses were out of this world as Warfield edges out Red River by the final score of 5-0. Warfield's quick edge rushing DE Decon James was the star of the game with 8 tackles, 2 sacks, a hurry and a safety for one of only two scores in the entire game. Red River was also great on defense forcing and recovering two fumbles, sacking the QB 3 times with 5 hurries and intercepting him once as well.

Amsterdam Dragon's (3-8) at Tilburg Dream (3-8) 132-39

The athletes formerly known as Touch took advantage of an overly aggressive Dream defense as the Amsterdam Dragon's finally get off the shnide against Tilburg. Amsterdam QB Better Watch-Out went 17 of 19 for 743yds, 11 TDs and no picks in this one sided affair setting BBB #1 records for points scored and margin of victory.

Hat Tossers are next in line after the Dragon's (I still laugh when I see that apostrophe after the n) for the Argonauts to test themselves against. I trust you will give us a good game, Merenoise.

We are looking forward to it. You guys have surprised some people in the last couple of games. We trust it will be a closely fought affair.

Oh yeah, I forgot Salzburg. I can't help but bust balls here. You get all my support in BBB #3 though.

I will make you this deal joey. If one of your players scores or forces a defensive TD he will be in the highlight reel.
