Just curious, how are all of you making use of your training and bonus tokens?

My recommendation to my team is to use tokens on advanced equip. And we never use boosts for games in a coordinated fashion even if some guys do it on occasion here and there. I guess that is easy to do when you aren't fighting for a playoff spot or home field.

What do you do? Do any teams save up boosts for big games? Again, just curious about other people's strategies. Knowing won't change what we do one way or the other.

Since Tokens were introduced late in most of our players careers we're all playing catch up on the Advanced Gear upgrades. After they're all caught up we can start looking at using them for game upgrades. Will probably swing the tide of a game 1 way or the other pretty certainly. Can't wait to find out.

I haven't been on a team that the boost actually helped so I don't know why you would do it. Maybe everyone didn't actually boost, but they said they were.

Just depends on the circumstances. I definitely advise to work on 1 piece of AE at a time, but you have to get something worth upgrading first. At these high levels, you can get some real nice +3 skill with +1 SA or +x%. Those ones are sweet, but seem to be very rare. Then again, using the temp. boosts are handy so you can get the +1 SP, then save it so that when you level up you now have 6 SP instead of 5 SP which doesn't fit all the way into capped skills.

You should definitely be using some type of strategy with them, though, and not just boosting randomly or avoiding AE. I probably only "go shopping" about 4 times per season since I mainly use intense training.

i had a bad taste in my mouth so i train on intense with 2 skills and use my bonus tokens to get the +5 upgrade for a game with the +1 skill point. Ive been able to up my stats pretty quickly all season constantly. I havent seen a production increase using the +5 stat though. I just do it for the skill points really. When the tokens first came out i used them all to get Adv equipment and i got 3 straight WR sets of equip so i was like screw it.

What was said is I had to check to see if you were referring to me as the buy weak team.

We sort of coordinate for bigger games, but in an unspoken fashion. No one tells our guys to, but when big games come out I tend to find 75% of us will use our bonus tokens for +5 temp boosts. We've just played together with the same group for so long we just sort of know.

I know some of our guys have been boosting AE, but I prefer not to. I spent a lot of tokens actually finding something useful on one of my players. It seems more cost effective to get the +1 SP from cashing in 4 bonus tokens, if you are trying to balance your player out. If you're still trying to boost that one skill to ridiculous levels, I can see why you'd prefer working on the AE.
