Any particular SA that stands out the most?

Pancake is the most expensive to add in to. Not only because it costs 1 extra than most SAs, but because to get it high, you also need to spend in the utterly worthless SAs before it (hands, cut block). If you feel inclined to get pancake to 8, advanced equipment is the only logical way to go, otherwise it simply isn't worth the price. (x-x-1-2-4 is as far as I'd ever be willing to spend on pancake, the cost of the 5th pancake point is 1+2+4=7, rofl no thanks - but with a +4 pancake equip and +1 custom, you could have pancake to 9 after 2-3 seasons of BT investment).
However, I'd rather have get low and just leave pancake alone. Getting get low up to 10 without having to invest that 5th point in run block for a 3:1 cost has value of its own... Could run your SAs 4-6-0-0-0, and use advanced equip to have "get low" up to 10 and only end up spending 18 points on SAs, lol.

pancake is the most overrated SA ever
i wouldnt spend a single point until i have nothing else to spend on
i think Get Low and Run block are both nice since they are early in the tree and have great benefits

If you can somehow manage 10 pancakes / game against respectable opponents, it would be very very worth it in the run game. However, even with high str/ pancake, nobody gets them anyway (or if they do, the game was a blowout anyway). So yeah, get low =)

Cut block is useless? I just got an advanced with it for my guy (passed up a foundation one and sold my run block shoes). Don't have it upgraded to useful yet, though.

Agreed. My C who's on a slow build team has over 80strenght, he's facing people with less than 50strenght ( a lot have builds open) and has average not even 50 pancakes in 9 games, 40 of which were from gutted and CPU teams.
Cut Block + Shock block are fantastic, much better than pancake.

Well if I put equipment on my C has over 90 strength and gets next to no pancakes. Once I put more points in cut + shock block he actually started to get more...

Cut Block is money for OTs from everything I've noticed. My level 34 is starting to work toward that now and it's been good to him so far. (He also has 65 agility though)

So, would you buy a piece of advanced equipment for an OT that is Cut Block SA and +3 jumping for 48k? I already have a piece with Pancake upgraded through 24 tokens.
Jumping seems like a waste, but I'm not sure when I'll see a cut block SA again.

If you/your team has cash, I'd but it, put tokens in, and keep looking for new ones. But the jumping is totally useless. Mine has confidence(and now, strength), which, while not essential, is definitely useful.

Back again, I managed to get +1 Speed, and +1 Get Low? Is that worth the investment or should I keep rolling?
On the topic of equpiment, does it matter where I have my standard equipment? It's all in strength right now but is it better to have it all in Blocking?

I would at least have equipment split evenly between strength/blocking but I have moved all my equipment to blocking to counter the agility/speed DEs.
+1 speed +1 get low is good if your team is run oriented. I have a +2 blocking, +1 get low on a guard that I have bumped up to +5 +2 and I love it.
