Hey guys, I am just wondering what the best Passing Blocking SA is for a Guard?

Either Shock Block or Pass Block, IMHO.

the thing I don't like about shock block, is that it's only going to work well when you're much stronger than your opponent. I could see it being activated then, for a very strong left guard, but what's the point?

Excellent point Darren, hadn't really considered that. For some reason I was thinking OT and not an interior line. It's true that most G's will be fairly evenly matched to the DT. Now, for a C it might be worth it after they max out Line General as there is a good shot they will be stronger than the NT.

yea but that's pretty far down the road...sure you need a couple points in there in case you go against some quick, low strength NT, but it's not like he has a lot of space to get away from you, if there's really that much str differential, 3 or 4 in shock block ought to be enough.

I don't have many in the pass blocking line, but I like Absorb Pain. Had the biggest shift in allowing sacks when I got to it with Snoop (only allowed 1 or 2 sacks the past 4 seasons).

Pass block and foundation are the best, IMO.
