***** TiTs vs. West Scranton
The battle to see who can keep pace with Mean Machine. Both teams should be fired up, as they dont get very many featured 5 star games yet up there in Alpha. This should be a slobber knocker.
Prediction: West Scranton.

**** Cook Island vs. VKS
Cook Island is the only undefeated left in Zeta. They had a good opening schedule. Are they for real? This will tell us. If they can knock off the 4-1 VKS, put them down as a Zeta front running powerhouse. If they lose.....the blood bath in Zeta gets worse.
Prediction: VKS

*** Samoa Gangsters vs. Fiji Stingers
The battle of 4-1. This game will start to open up the standings a bit. A win for Samoa, keeps the new comers among Zeta's top teams. A win for Fiji, puts them on the radar big time, as this team looks a lot better this year.
Prediction: Samoa

** Mean Machine vs. Brantford
Battle of great records. Brantford is considered one of Alpha's top 5, but do they have what it takes to knock off one of the big boys? Until they show they can, my money is all over MM. I think it will be an easy double digit win for MM.
Prediction: Mean Machine

* Grapestompers vs. MTD
Another great matchup of 4-1 teams (man is Zeta crazy). This is a huge game for both. 5-1 sets both teams up nicely heading to the middle tier of the schedule. Grapestompers have already taken down one powerhouse in VKS. Can they take down MTD? I think MTD learned a lot by viewing VKS tapes.
Prediction: MTD


Just missing out on the 5 star games:

IC vs. Gods:
Important game for both clubs, as a loss for either team will leave an uphill battle the rest of the way in Zeta, as every game is going to be VERY important the rest of the way.

There is a fairly good chance that there will be six 5-1 teams in Zeta after the games today. What other league has six-way first-place ties after Week 6?

On the other hand, if Cook Island wins, then there will probaby be a mere four teams biting at their heels. No pressure.

My money is on Michigan pulling the upset over OSU.

Many good games today. The TIT/WS series has been back and forth the past two seasons. Whoever has won the regular season game has lost the postseason rematch ... maybe I should be rooting for WS today.

Shoot, I'm not speculating on TIT/WS.

Vanuatu is tight, and seems to find gutty ways of winning games, but I think their luck runs out this game.

Samoa will take Fiji fairly easily.

MTD will start working their way back to the top again.

I think Texas Tech over OU in a shootout.

The way Tonga is playing this year, it will be tough. Difference could be our sub par chemistry. Will be close, hopefully we can play a tight one.
