You may be right, but so far he has held his own. Only Congo's RDE was able to get past him.....so far.

I'd move half or at least one piece of eq into blocking and work on getting agility to 60 with all SPs.

Thanks for all the input on the build. I will continue to work on blocking to get it to the 3:1 and agility to 2:1

Not sure what you mean by double teams, are you talking about an OLB blitzing the C gap? You're not to win 1 on 2 against two speed rushers every time, but you should definitely softcap speed and get Protect up around 5.

OLB blitzing on the outside of the RDE.

Why do so many people like blocking so much? Has anyone had any real success with it?

I have found with my OT's that rasing blocking really high doesn't do anything against the really good DE's anyway, and I have never had a problem against the crappy DE's. Most of the good DE's that I see have around 40+ vision and at least 65ish agility, and most often have at least 6 levels of shed block (5 plus custom) I never hold a block against them anyways. I have moved every piece of equipment out of blocking and into strength, and just used a few points on Shock Block. They may get off of my blocks a fraction of a second faster now than before, but they are often "stunned" for even a fraction longer than I used to block them, plus I am loads better in the run game now.

If I had it to do over, I would have never put a single point into blocking on any of my O-Line guys, but would have put all of those points into agility and/or speed.

i agree somewhat. i would do agility, strength to 1st cap, then possibly blocking, then str & agi to second cap, then vision, then speed to 40, then second cap blocking and third and fourth cap str/agi..

It helps in pass and run blocking and enhances what you get out of the agility, blocking and the SAs
