POWER RANKINGS
1. Cairo Mummy Warriors(4-0) - With victories over both Casablanca and the Maine Freeze they are off to a good start and are at least slightly battle tested.
2. Casablanca Golden Eagles(3-1) - In their 3 wins they have won easily and even beat a playoff team from last season pretty badly. Can't really put them down there in the rankings for a six point loss to Cairo.
3. Maine Freeze(3-1) - Tough Loss to Cairo tonight but it was a lot closer than the final score indicated, these guys have been fairly impressive in their 3 wins and have a good shot at getting a home playoff game. Watch out for their pass rush they have the best pass rushing pair of DEs in the entire league.
4. Nigerian Nightmares(4-0) - Other than a close win over the Jayhawks they have had a fairly easy schedule early it remains to be seen how they stack up against the better teams in the conference.
5. Madagascar Grand JagerMenze(4-0) - I haven't really given these guys any love all season even picking them to lose big in a game they won by 26 but I just don't feel they are quite a top four team at the moment it remains to be seen if Corbett Canyon and the rest of the Grand JagerMenze will continue to prove me wrong.
6.Freetown Jayhawks(2-2) - I don't know about ranking these guys this high but to be fair their two losses have both come against teams that should make the playoffs and they have plenty of time to get things turned around. They will need to sure up the defense and continue to lean on their strong rushing attack to ensure a playoff berth.
7.Carthage Mercenaries(1-3) - At 1-3 they probably shouldn't be ranked this high but they have had the toughest schedule of anybody in elephant so far and have a strong passing game, For this team to really progress though their defense is going to have to start showing signs of life and they need to find a way to stop turning the ball over as they have already turned the ball over 14 times.
8.Ethiopian Food Mongers(4-0) - they may be 4-0 but they haven't played anybody that they didn't out level by a lot and they didn't win by much in two of those games, when they start playing playoff caliber teams the losses will start piling up.
9.Lethoso Rollers(3-1) - a 3-1 start is pretty good for this team in a conference where most teams out-level them by a decent amount, they could make the playoffs but it's going to be a real struggle to do so.
10.Rhodesian Ridgebacks(2-2) - This team plays tough despite the level disadvantage that they face. They damn near knocked off the Ethiopian Food Mongers.
11.P-Town Ballaz(2-2) - I've never been very impressed with this team, they have been the doormat of the conference since their inception they just have some lower level teams to beat up on this season but I don't expect that they'll make the playoffs and a couple of the new teams will probably beat them.
12.Cardiff Cobras(1-3) - They just don't have the roster to be able to compete this season, they showed some heart against Carthage but Carthage was just too much for them.
13.Uganda Monsoon(1-3) - another team that's simply outmatched this season their only victory coming against an all CPU team.
14.Nigeria Warriors(0-4) - with the teams they've played they should have been able to win at least one game but I don't see them going winless.
15.Ivory Coast Breakers(0-4) - they have had a tough schedule for a team that was expecting to be in a capped league this season, these guys will just have to wait till next year.
16.Mauritius Mountain Lions(0-4) - There are a number of teams deserving of the last spot on the rankings but with their 30 total points of offense they'll have it for now even though their schedule hasn't been all that weak.
Week 5 Predictions
Mauritius Mountain Lions vs. P-Town Ballaz
Mauritius has a good chance at getting their first win in this one as this should be a fairly close game but I think that P-Town is slightly better at this point.

Uganda Monsoon vs. Madagascar Grand JagerMenze
The Grand JagerMenze will move to 5-0 with this game and should win easily.

Nigerian Nightmares vs. Rhodesian Ridgebacks
The Ridgebacks will need a lot of things to go right for them to win this one and I just don't see it happening but they should be able to show some fight and not get beat too badly

Ethiopian Food Mongers vs. Nigeria Warriors
The Nigeria Warriors have yet to win a game and have really struggled to get it going this one won't be any different the Food Mongers will continue their run happy ways on the road to victory.
Ivory Coast Breakers vs. Maine Freeze
The Maine Freeze DEs will assualt "Big" Sweat all day and give Ivory Coast little chance of putting up many points Maine will win this game easily.

Freetown Jayhawks vs. Casablanca Golden Eagles
This could be the game of the week between two teams that are expected to make the playoffs. The Jayhawks will have trouble running the ball and protecting the passer in this game and that will cost them the game. The Jayhawks have also struggled some and defense and against Casablanca that is not good news for them.

Carthage Mercenaries vs. Lethoso Rollers
If Carthage shows up on defense this will be a blowout, if they struggle once again this could be somewhat close. The Carthage Defense has struggled all season I see this game being no different.
