after missing a week I return to pick the AA2 games. As stated before this is baseless and I have no idea how these games will play out.

on to the chaos ::

Alice Springs Fire vs. Palau Pimp Smackers

Epic matchup for game one. These guys are two of the best and this should be a great one. The Fire pulled out a great win against the SeaDragons they're going to need more of the same against a great Pimp Smackers team and their running game. I can't go against the Fire again so make it 34-31 Fire.

Manilla Gorillaz vs. Easter Island Moai

the Moai cruise through Manilla like a burrito through Nate Newton. 91-10.

South Australian Serial Killers vs. Samoa Piranha Monkeys

P-Monks bounce back with a big win. 175-10

The Throwback Cowboy's vs. Sydney Sea Dragons

Damn these two playoff-bound teams have had an early gauntlet give me the SeaDragons pulling away in the 3rd to take a 42-17 win.

Vero Renegades vs. Auckland Flames

Will not pick my own game, have to try and stay hex proof.

Ohio Valley Ironmen vs. Darwin Mud Crabs

Two good teams, but Ohio Valley is starting to look like a serious force and they'll put this one away early 51-16.

Gold Coast Titans vs. Vanuatu Gunslingers

Gold Coast sneaks by Vanuatu 237-0.

Heard Island Refugees vs. Newcastle Surfers

Very good matchup in this one. I flipped a coin for the winner so science says it's Heard Island in a classic.

Redscape Diplomats vs. Outback Astronauts

Redscape runs away 61-21

Hueco Mundo Hollows vs. Tasmania Sand Gnats

Sand Gnats run into a buzzsaw here with the Hollows. After that slugfest with the Saints the Hollows look like a top seed to me. Hollows 51 - Sand Gnats 17.

Cimmerian Barbarians vs. New Jersey Justice

Justice is Served 2 - The Wrath of CIA. Justice 163-0.

Coney Island Warriors vs. Dunedin Wolverines

Two teams who are better than their records would have you believe. Give me Dunedin with a wild first half and pulling away in the 2nd half 72-30.

Solomon Islands Alchemy vs. Atlantis Armageddon

Solomon is more tested and will put together a win here that helps seed the playoffs as both of these teams will be there. 45-42.

Mauna Kea Chenabogs vs. Krakatoa Kings

Both have had tough early schedules, but I like the Kings to right the ship here. 31-21.

Papua New Guinea Macaque and Balls vs. Boondock Saints

The Saints have been the tough luck team of the season and this time they win the close one 34-31.

Uluru Rockies vs. Tasmania Devils

Oh my. 222-0.

I think you're safe to pick yourself against Auckland. It would take a really special hex to lose to them.

As always, this is a lot of fun to read.

Great job Horn, keep it up. The Fire has had a lot of teams' numbers the last few seasons, they just slip up against teams that you'd think they'd easily beat. And what even happened to Vanuatu? They used to be a pretty solid team, now they ar eall CPUs. Overall, this league gets better and better every year.

Yeah... like the Krauts in the playoffs last year when we had beaten them just 2 weeks earlier. *sigh*

Sorry to disappoint any of the bookies out there but just found out half my players were at the strip club last night.

they were out with the bookies, who made a killing on the points and the under.

BTW - uhm, did I pick every winner correctly? HAHA. Awesome. Of course, I just realized that there wasn't a single close finish this week, but still ...

With our tough game against Redscape coming up, give us some luck and pick us.
