Phuket Water Dragons at Pontianak Firebirds

A very inconsistent Dragon team visits the Firebirds. These water breathing mythical creatures attempt to put out the birds, but the flame is too hot. Firebirds by 14.

Manila Cyberballers at Singapore J.B. Lions

The Lions have cruised through the early part of their first AA schedule, challenges lie ahead but not at the hands of the stagnated Cyberballers. Lions by 21.

Tibet Psychonauts at Subic Bay Admirals

Tibet needs to get things turned around soon or they can kiss a 2nd consecutive playoff spot goodbye. The Admirals bring their Argonauts to sink the Psychonauts. Admirals by 10.

Salford Storm at Sumatra Sting

The biggest test yet for the neophyte Sumatra boys. The Storm needs to gather some steam after getting dosed by the Snow Monkeys last week. This one goes down to the wire and the Sting survive a late storm surge. Sting by 3.

Shanghai Shadow Dragons at Arctic Avalanche

The Dragons got a couple cupcakes to start the Zeta conference schedule. A little too much yodeling over their success starts the Avalance. Avalance by 14.

Sault Ste Marie Metalheads at Hanoi Predators

The Metalheads turn the Predators into prey this week. Ugly early and often. Metalheads by 80.

Shanghai Cheetahs at Kyoto Samurai

Someone is going to get their first win of the season in this one. The Samurai bring out some new moves, including the overhand cheetah throw, to get in the win column. Samurai by 10.

Thailand Cheap Toys at Midway Maulers

Wouldn’t Santa make a great QB for the Cheap Toys? The Toys go to 4-0 as Midway poses little issues. Toys by 35.

Garut Fire Horses at San Fran Gold Rush

The Rush are on cruise control while the Horses are still fighting a hangover from their party with the Monks last week. Rush by 28.

The Elephant Riders at The Pretenders

Pretend all you want, the Riders are the better team. Riders by 21.

Palembang Tigers at Thung Yai Tigers

Don’t we all enjoy a good cat fight? With the pride of Thailand and Sumatra on the line, the Tigers from the north get the flip of the coin. Tigers (Thung Yai version) by 10.

SBI Waves at Tibetan Drunk Monks

Alcohol and water don’t usually mix, but these Drunk Monks enjoy surfing these gentle Waves. Monks by 28.

I would have. But I think we'll get used to it. It just doesn't feel intuitive right now. After reading the story behind the two creatures, I think it is very fitting.
