Warrior General Games

Just some quick picks for the upcoming games. Nats is tied up this season. Will try to pick up when I can.


Cairns Fire vs. SAFSrbija Endzone

SAFS put this one away early. Should be one you can go grab a beer at any time. Easy win for SAFS.



Indonesia Drunk Fu vs. Newcastle Minotaurs

Practice game for the Minos. Would not have been close 2 days ago, and now with the Drunks selling out, the Sim will be the only one watching this game.



Antarctica Seals vs. Hattrick Srbija

Hattrick has some talent on the team, but I don't think they will be able to put up enough points to come away with the win. They played USGD tough last game and won't go down easy, but I see an 0-3 start for Hattrick this season. Seals win comfortably....not easy.



Sydney Hammerhead vs. Tonga Terror

Tonga gets into the win column here. Sydney isn't going to beat anybody, except the Drunks, at this time with that secondary. Rebuilding is fine and it sure makes picking games easy.


Vanuatu Volcano vs. Chillicothe Convicts

Game of the week. I like both of these teams makeup. I think Vanuatu will bounce back from the last game and come up with the win. If they do, it will be well deserved. The Convicts are definitely ready for prime time. Both of these teams will make the playoffs, but this game will be very big for seeding.



Urumuqi SanGuo Dynasty vs. PENRITH CITY OUTLAWS

USGD will be all over the Outlaws in this game and come away with an easy win. This one could be over by half time. The next 3 games for USGD will give a much better look at where they fit in in AA#3.


Gold Coast Samurai vs. Osaka Buckeyes

Start of a killer 3 game stretch for the Samurai. After looking at the Samurai offense,I don't see how they are going to put up enough points on the Buckeyes to pull out a win. Buckeyes win big.


Tuvalu Matadors vs. Wake Island's Destroyers

This could be an interesting game. It gives Wake a chance to make a statement early in the season with a victory. I don't see it happening though. I am not sold on their defense at all. I think the Matadors will be giving the Destroyers defense the Ole treatment a good many times today. I think Tuvalu wins pretty easily.

STATEMENT! Looks like their D was doing the Ole'-ing. GG Matadors.

That was a well deserved win by Wake Island against a good Tuvalu team. I'm still not a full believer yet in that defense.....but....I have a lot more respect for it tonight!

The Destroyers will get a chance to shut my pie-hole later in the season

Wake could easily be 7-1 going into a week 9 game against Vanuatu....and they need to be. The 2nd half of their schedule is the tougher portion. Wake looks pretty good right now though.
