After a mauling at the hands of the Vancouver Jax last week, the Warriors walked into Snails Stadium with redemption in mind. At the end of the game, they walked to the locker room having completed a 42-17 route of the previously undefeated Snails, and seemingly back on the track to the top of the conference.
The Warrior Offense was not flashy, just efficient as they used long drives that ended in touchdowns to get the victory. They did not attempt a single field goal. The Warrior Defense forced a fumble in the Snails' first possession to force them to punt, and followed that with 3 three and outs, another forced fumble w/ defensive recovery, followed by another three and out. The defense made it tough on the Snail offense all day, while the Warrior offense continued to march down the field often.
The Winnipeg Warriors will be facing the Buffalo Bills in their next conference game, and hope to continue their effective play against teams not from Vancouver that cut down trees for a career.
