I agree completely...I expect each of the Elephant teams to be making serious upgrades where needed and it'll be a very competitive season. I felt much tighter associations with Tripoli, E'ci, MaRAWK, etc...basically teams that know personally what it is we've been through here at Iowa since our first season.

No offense to BBE or UN, but they didn't have the same scenario to start with that we did, and I consider our progress from where we were to where we've come more remarkable. Many, many owners that start with gutted teams are done by the end of the first season. Now that UN and BBE are gone, the teams who've truly had to claw and fight their way to the top can see who reaps the biggest reward this season, and our head-to-heads will mean more than ever before!

I'm gutted Sahara seem to be the only active lion team on here these days

The fresh meat best start some rivalries otherwise we'll be moving leagues

Im not trying to start shit, but what GB was getting at is that him, Dilpete/Cannons and few other owners started from the bottom and have worked to the top in this league. The BBE owner inherited a team that was almost a proven franchise, so he didnt have to work as hard as them..

Anyone expecting a rebuttal from BBE?????

Yes, he definitely changed my view of him towards the end of the year.

I'm sure BuddyHorn has a slightly adjusted view on him now too..anyone see Brit's comment the other day in AAA?

I just wish Brit would've stayed humble that's all. My QB Jizzy Favre played for a championship team in S. America, won our league and moved up to AAA far before BBE did, and now that SA team is in SA Pro with Cobra Kai, and I would've been there with them if I didn't bring Jizzy over to Iowa for last season. My point is, their owner (J10, also a GM with us) has been nothing but classy the entire time.

He should also realize he got lucky with all the connections he landed through current players. Many owners do far better than Brit with their teams and have to recruit twice as hard.

That comment should not have been made... I predict BBE will finish about 6th in that conference...

Yea, I dont wanna be there for the embarrassment of D3 being a failure again. Not even being on a AA first place team is gonna save him from being an average RB at best in AAA.
