haha, well they weren't worthless this season. I think it was a smart idea by Bort because we played the same teams (Norfolk'n-Cambridge vs. PGK-San Diego) and the Conference Championship losers played which in other leagues made a difference in who got promoted, and it was supposed to judge who the best teams at season's end were. Basically, he didn't want to use regular season unless he had to because teams can change so much and Bort wanted the teams that would be the most competitive now up there, not who was the most competitive 3 weeks ago. In the end, everyone should have known that those games mattered this season. They were like mini playoffs themselves and even though we didn't game plan for them, we didn't screw around with stuff either like I sometimes do. Norfolk'n moved on because they went 2-0 vs. Cambridge's 1-1. We moved on likewise. I was happy to have a week 20 non-worthless game this season.
