Thanks everyone! Moving up will be difficult, but it was being in our league for as long as we have that IMO prepared us to move up. Thanks for all those snuffed playoff runs. It made this championship seem a lot sweeter!

What the hell is moving up worth if we have to bring 6 teams with us???

With this logic, we should have moved up last season... what a way to tarnish a championship season....

Wow really? So they should of just not done relegation cause it makes your championship mean less?

i think what dviss meant was moving up was bragging rights, and with that many teams moving up it's like giving prizes for finishing third, fourth, and fifth. on the other hand we know we can beat these teams.

I see what your saying but I personally didn't take that with our teams championship. Several others from Oceania A moved up as well but they know we earned our trip up and theirs was handed on a silver platter.

To be honest I think it rips off the teams that got moved up early. Lets say for example if Portland would of got moved up last year just like the teams did this year. We prob. wouldn't of won a championship, we would of had to get our ass kicked by Somoa! Now teams like Poly and the Devils were favored to win it and now they are in a tougher league. The Rain is lucky to have had ANOTHER opportunity to win the championship on AA. I am thankful to have won a championship! It shows all the new teams, if a team is well managed, you can make it to the top. A lot of our players have been on the Rain since they built their players.

Good luck all in AA

Ya know NDE when you put it that way I understand better. We won when we were supposed to. And you're right, All of my players and mostly everyone has been here since level 1. Now we are more prepared to be in AAA.

Yup. From my perspective ~ admittedly a one-player agent point-of-view ~ I've been with the Dingoes since moving out of the D-League, and it's been fun watching the team come together. We seem to have surprised some folks by competing as well as we did in season 5, and I think a lot of us were looking forward to making a "sleeper" run to the AA#1 title in season 6.

But I'm not complaining about Mount Isa moving up; it'll be great to test ourselves against the competition in AAA. And I do think that you (dviss) run the risk of tipping into whinging when you post about the additional promotions. Just a few days ago, your team won the championship of a hugely competitive league. Nothing's tarnished. Bask in it.
