Unlike Steeks, we did gameplan for this one and got flat out beat. It was a good game though, I feel happy where our team stands.
Unfortunately though not sure if we will be around the rest of you knuckleheads next season. If there is a big re-shuffle, we may wake up on day 41 in AA with Dallas and Black Sea.

GG guys, two very tough & sucessful teams this season - hate to see just one winner. Like Jbleich said maybe you'll both move up next season & continue the rivalry.

The Sofia Spiders nearly pulled off the upset, but in the end, it was the #1 seed Dallas Gallaxy that will be representing the Alpha Conference in the League Championship. Dallas scored on the opening drive of the game with a TD run by Lead Rushing to take the early lead. Sofia was able to answer back at the end of the first quarter with a TD run from J.C. Seneca to knot it up at 7-7 going into the second. Dallas then scored on their first possession in the second quarter to go back up by 7 and make it a 14-7 halftime lead. Quite possibly the turning point in the game was with 6:23 left in the third quarter and Dallas still holding a 14-7 lead, Joey Blueskies completed a pass to Big Game who then got hit and coughed up the football giving Dallas the recovery and a short field. They where able to capitalize and put it in the endzone to take a 21-7 lead late in the third quarter. The two teams traded FG's and midway through the fourth quarter it was still a 14 point deficit at 24-10. Sofia fought back though with a 31 yard TD pass from Blueskies to Game and Sofia cut it to 24-17. But Dallas did what they had to do when they got the ball back; they collected first downs and ran out the clock. It was a great game with an exciting finish.
