There are some issues that should not be brought up on the forums but should be handled through PMs. Contracts and PT are a couple of them.

+1 ...both of yall need to layoff the league forum and grow up.

Me? I wasnt the one that brought this here.

I'm sticking up for puppy on this one, nobody should be subject to getting called out WITHOUT having the right to defend themselves. He gave his point across and now other team OWNERS & GM's are chipping in having digs, he has already said he does not want to speak of it no more. So let's at least respect that?

Players/agents are entitled to back out/move their players on whenever they feel like it. Honouring the contract is the main thing, I hate it when people demand trades or to be cut and then threaten to make it public if they dont get their own way.

Sorry puppy, from my standpoint I thought you should've sent what you wrote here via PM to R.Williams. I still got your back though. Good Game yesterday too, given it was just a scrimmage, and we tried a new defense, it was very entertaining.

i have been away for the weekend and some shit went down, sorry i missed it...i was wondering why i got a PM from anonymous asking to become a member of the Sea Wolves organization.

puppy, u seem like a cool dude and i never had any problems with you before, but your mass recruiting and replacing players left and right does make some agents mad. I dunno the problems here with ya'll, but just some things i have heard from different FAs

that was not the case, all i did was ask to test the waters and i may leave and shit hit the roof, all hell broke loose, so he benched me and banned me from the forum. i jus think thats a lil childish, seein that he is 15, but still no excuse. when i had my team and some one wanted to leave i released/traded them asap, not bench them or ban them from the team all together. it was a simple request takin the complet worng way.

Hey williams.

1.) Your players are still starting, check the depth chart. Some of them are, anyways. Plus, its the offseason. Why would I play players that are leaving? I need to see what I have for next year.

2.) I gave you the opportunity to regain forum access, but you acted like a smart ass which is why you're not in there.

3.) You WILL get released, I told you in the offseason when it takes -1 instead of -3.

4.) @Jdawg, we have about 3 owners on our team (DaStunnder, Kuhner and Williams) that are leaving, and they contain about 10-15 players, and the others that are expiring are either backups or they're going to their own teams. Im just recruiting to replace those players. Nothing more, nothing less.

5.) @theeaction, we tried a new defense too. 100% zone with 75% blitz DOES NOT work

Benching guys is a good topic in the 'suggestions' forum. (until Jed locks the threads)

There was chatter about establishing a 'council'. But I just don't see how its workable.

It's the team owner's right to bench. If the reason is outright negative actions against the team, then of course it is warranted. If the reason is personal anger, then maybe a better something can be found.

My interest is purely best interest of GLB. I hope all parties can continue to enjoy GLB.

It's still technically the 'post' season until the playoffs end.

Being benched for scrimmages (wherein no one gets XP) seems a moot point to me.
I agree that known players that are leaving
ought not be started, these scrimmages are important to study / develop strengths and weanesses for NEXT year.

We are trying out our other players so we know what we need to work on next year. Since you won't be on the team, there is no reason to test it out with you in it.

If a player is unhappy and asks for a trade, I have no problem with that. If it was as innocent as that then it has been overblown. I dont think a player should get dropped for asking for a trade. However there are always 2 sides to a story and perhaps the public forum isn't the right place to air these problems.
