I love a good sports debate, so I will indulge. The sports walkietalkie in Cambodia has been buzzing with the arguments for Scooter.

The most popular call has been asking about how the top vote getters fared versus the same opponents. We all know a lot of the stats in this league come from fattening up on the weaker teams. So if Snow only played the first half of the season at PR, what teams did he face?

AFE -
Snow - 3PR, 100.5 yards, 33.5 AVG, 1TD
Scooter - 17PR, 541.0 yards, 31.8 AVG, 5TD

PHU-
Snow - 2 PR, 29.0 YDS, 14.5 AVG
Scooter- 0 0.0 0 0

TIB -
Snow - 1 7.0 7
Scooter - 5 41.5 8.3

MAN -
Snow - 1 6.0 6
Scooter - 8 82.0 10.3

PAD -
Snow - 14 PR, 478.5 YDS, 34.2 AVG, 3 TD
Scooter - 20 PR, 605.0 YDS, 30.3 AVG, 5 TD

HIR- They has a lineman punting. His 17 yard average help most teams to 2-3 PR's for TD's. Scooter was the only one to pick up those punts and try to return them. A lot went for 5 yards, but 10 went for TD's.

Snow - 12 PR, 201.5YDS, 16.8 AVG, 2TD
Scooter - 34 PR, 738.0 YDS, 21.7 AVG, 10 TD

MOU -
Snow -2 24.5 12.3 0

TOTALS -
SNOW - 35 PR, 847 YDS, 24.2 AVG, 6 TD
SCOOTER - 95 PR, 2167 YDS, 22.8 AVG, 15 TD

So even in common games Scooter had a lot more chances. The key thing to take from this is that Snow was a backup PR guy who racked up 16 of his 35 punt returns against the 2 worst teams we both faced.

You forgot our Head to Head match (Which the Mountain Men won)

SNOW: KR 3 YDS 86.5 AVG 28.8, 0 TD
SCOOTER: KR 3 YDS 76.5 AVG 25.5, 0 TD

SCOOTER PR for TD AVG 15.8%
SNOW PR for TD AVG 17.1%

No matter how you break it down. You both were very consistent and always a threat. It is a legitimate argument for who placed where and I am sure in the end it wasn’t an easy choice.

My point in breaking it down was to show that 26 of his 35 punt returns came in 2 games. The 2 teams we all blew out 200-0. So of course his average was going to be better. If my guy only returned punts those 2 games the PR for TD $ would have been 27.7%. The thing is I am just verbally breaking it down for myself. As a return man as my only role I probably look at this stuff more than 99% of the league.

So where is the Zeta listing?

all alpha owners/Gms(minus CPU teams) took part in getting this running with nominations starting somewhere near mid season and a final vote occurring near the end of the season

Totally knew this was coming and I have no good comeback.

Hopefully next year I'll get a full season and we'll be able to put Jimmy Riley up on that list.
