AU is surprised they got whooped, and probably still think they should have beat the Hood...

Welcome to Reality, where AU is a 2nd tier team slightly behind the Hood... We will see this week if AU can truly win a very close match-up, because Thunder Bay is in another class...

1st tier: Bloodhounds, Spitfires
2nd Tier: Hood, Bulls, Tigers

Thanks for the kind words, stp-d. I think that it is impossible for our conference to continue the lucky #7 seed tradition.

No one beyond the #5 seed will win this league without doubt. On that note, I honestly would be shocked to see it be won beyond the #3(Hood) seed. I respect the AU Tigers and PG Bulls but I just think they won't have what it takes this season. If they pull it out, all congrats go to them but I just don't see it this year.

Personally my goal going into this year was to build/maintain a team that could make it to the conference championship game. I think we have done that but we MOST DEFINITELY need to prove it still. Extremely anxious for the TB game and even moreso the playoffs. Good luck to all that are fighting for a home game as well as those hoping for the last #8 spot.

Can't wait!

Hood were a fortunate team when we played them. Plain and simple. RL throws curve ball and we weren't prepared.

AU isn't a 2nd tier team, we have losses against the top 2 teams by a large margin but once we figure out an identity on offense, and continue to improve our AI we will beat great teams like Thunder Bay like we have in the past.

Ok, I'll admit I am extremely hungover. But I am finding it is adding to my headache trying to figure out how what you said doesn't directly label you as a 2nd tier team. Especially the first quote.

If your train of thought is widely acceptable than my Vikings are not a middle of the road/crappy team. We just have lost to better teams and when we get a new head coach, a new quarterback, and our offense realizes what the end zone is for. We will beat great teams again.
