Alpha Game of the Week:
Mongolian Horde at Ho Chi Minh Hookers:
Both teams would like to pick up momentum heading to the playoffs, so don't expect to see anyone caught napping here. The Horde is currently a tougher team, but with good game planning, tokens, and a little luck this game is within the Hookers reach. The Hookers will try the "Venus Fly Trap" technique, but the quick players of Mongolia are in and out before they can lock them in. HORDE by 13
-------------
Tibet Psychonauts at Krungthep Garudas:
The Psychonauts have been able to demonstrate that they have what it takes to be a competitive team in this division, but they face their ultimate test in Krungthep. The Garudas outlevel them at almost every position and this should show on the field. Barring a miracle, the Garudas fly away with this one. GARUDAS by 21
Algeria Addiction at Pingree Grove Pits:
Last week's shocker cost Algeria their chance to win the Alpha regular season title. They are fully awake and dangerous now, and intend to start taking out the anger and frustration on the nearest target possible. That means it will be the pits for the Pits. ADDICTION by 35
Padang Lightning at Cambodia Mountain Men:
This was looking like a big match at the beginning of the season, but after Padang's self-destruction, expect the Cambodians to have this well in hand. The Mountain Men should run up the score and have a chance to try out some new plays before the playoffs start. MOUNTAIN MEN by 35
Mount Fiju Dogs at Salford Storm:
The Storm will need to win out the season to insure they have the best playoff spot possible. The Storm thunders over Mount Fiji and heads toward Manila. STORM by 30
Columbus Black Knights at AFEF Hooligans:
In a true test of mediocrity, the Hooligans see if they can beat the higher level CPU team. This is absolutely the last chance both teams have for another win this season, but I don't think anyway cares. It's more like one team will lose this game, than anybody winning it. HOOLIGANS by 1
Phuket Water Dragons at Manila Cyberballers:
The Water Dragons need to win this one if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, but the Cyberballers are no longer the easy win they used to be. Manila has improved a great deal, and if Phuket isn't careful they could be retuning home with another notch in the L column. WATER DRAGONS by 7
Pontianak Firebirds at Hiroshima Radiation:
After a couple days in Hiroshima, the Firebirds begin to glow even more brightly than usual. Enjoy the vacation, boys! FIREBIRDS by 35
