Just a really powerful metaphor for how we were treating opposing teams. Don't blame us, its those damn kids and their computer slang.. Well that and we did it at first as in just off-handed, "Wow we really raped those guys" to the brilliant "rape-five!" and then they shared it with the league, explaining how much fun they were having raping them repeatedly (metaphorically of course). TBH, if people didn't get all up in arms about a joke, it probably would have died down. Bear in mind, it was usually a joke and we were on good terms with nearly every team we talked about since finally people caught on it was an reoccuring joke.
