afaik offense and defense totals are based off of points scored and points allowed
passing offense and defense are passing yards and passing yards allowed
rushing offense and defense are rushing yards and rushing yards allowed

i don't know (nor do i even care enough to figure out) how the power rank is scored- but if you want better total/passing/rushing O/D ranks then do a better job of beating the 12 cupcakes in our conference.
