Can someone explain the tie-breaker system to me?

I always thought that Head to Head was the first tie-breaker but somehow we're in 2nd right now.

3-way tie at the moment, so it goes to the next one down. I believe that is total points scored.

#1 or #3 seed for all I care. . . . . I just don't want that dreaded #2 Seed

It still wouldn't seem right though that a team who has beaten the current #1 and #3 seeds wouldn't be the #1 seed.

We could very well lose one of our remaining games against Austin, Rochester, or Murder City and make it a moot point, I was just curious.

Edit- Nevermind, didn't realize the #3 seed is Rochester and we have yet to play. Just seems odd.

The seeding for the playoffs is done by tie-breaker the actual rankings is by win-loss then points scored.

Right now there are 3 teams tied for best record (I'm the first to admit that my 11-1 record is weaker than the Thunder's 11-1 and Roughnecks 11-1.

Tie breaker is the number of wins you have against teams with the same record as you.

Roughnecks have 1 win, Thunder have 1 win (Thunder also have a loss against an 11-1 team, but that doesn't count) Vendetta has 0 wins.

Vendetta is third because of that.

Next tie breaker is Points Scored. Thunder have more points scored than Roughnecks, so Thunder have first seed, Roughnecks have second.

I believe in NFL rankings Roughnecks would be listed first, since you won the head to head between the 2 of you.

Oh well, there's several games left that we could potentially lose so I'm not gonna worry about it too much this early.
