Game of the week

Cambodia Mountain Men (even) at Algeria Addiction

The Mountain Men have yet to show they can hang with the big boys, with losses to the Horde and the Garudas, but have bested the rest of what Alpha has to offer. Despite the early season loss to the Horde, the Addiction still have designs on a share of the conference title and the #1 seed in the playoffs. The key may be whether the Mountain Men’s running game can sustain drives against the vaunted Addiction defense. It worked for fool, so I will be the homer here. The Mountain Men come charging down the hillside and catch the Addiction looking down the road with a late field goal. Cambodia by 3.

Other games

Krungthep Garudas (+12) at Columbus Black Knights

Garudas get to exhale and relax for couple weeks before their last showdown with the Addiction. This one gets ugly early as the Knight very well may not get a first down, yet alone a score. Knights shining armor is of no help against these birdheads. Garudas by 175.

AFEF Hooligans at Mongolian Horde (+18)

The Hooligans are in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that has been the case all season long. The Horde get to take their frustrations from last week’s loss out on the AFEF team. Horde hold hapless Hooligans hostage. Horde by 225.

Ho Chi Minh Hookers (+3) at Phuket Water Dragons

The Hookers look to string together some wins as they head to the playoffs. Dragons’ playoff hopes are on life support. Hookers leave the Dragons tied up as they search for some real men. Hookers by 45.

Salford Storm (+21) at Hiroshima Radiation

The Storm has the chance to finish the season on a winning streak as the big dogs have left their schedule. The Radiation aren’t even little dogs at this point. In fact, they ain’t even a thought in a horny dog’s mind. Storm by 150.

Pontianak Firebirds (+3) at Padang Lightning

The Firebirds catch their bye weeks just in time to salvage a playoff spot. How much better could it get with the Lightning, Radiation, and the Dogs left? Bye #1 comes as the Lightning have lost all their thunder. Firebirds by 80.

Pingree Grove Pits at Tibet Psychonauts (+6)

Tibet is on the verge of a playoff spot in their first season in AA. They have to take care of business here though and fellow newcoming Pingree Grove would like nothing more than to shoot them down. Firing Pits won’t do it though. Tibet by 21.

Upset special

Mount Fiji Dogs at Manila Cyberballers (+6)

These two teams are both better than their records indicate. Ok, well maybe not. But they both still have plenty of fight left in. Ok, well maybe not. Anyways, the Dogs get their 3rd win in a row with a spunky little showing. Dogs by 14.

Nice to toss Mount Fiji a bone, but I think Manila will own the Dogs.

Yep...Cyberballers are just beginning to coalesce into a team. They will be surprising quite a few people next year, I predict.

Wow, I think you are way off on this one - Water Dragons are playing better lately and will pull off the upset by using protection from the disease carrying Hookers

I think my owner needs to put the bong down. Can't see the Hookers by 45 or Fiji beating Manilla.

They do have some really good stuff here in Cambodia though so I can't say I blame him.

Your owner loves making controversial picks. Although this week I could take quite a hit to my overall record.

WOW...the Men beat the Addiction...
Well, that means the Garudas won the league.

Water Dragons won by 17. I highly recommend using two Magnums when playing against the Hookers.

6-2 this week, but at least I didn't miss that Cambodia/Algeria game.

Congrats also go out to the Water Dragons for a big upset win that keeps their playoff hopes alive.
