heres the rules got this from a private forum
If you're not familiar, here's the lo-down:
-There will be at least 13 players.
-3 will be mafia, one will be a sheriff, one will be a priest, and the other 8 townspeople.
-The mafia will choose one player to kill each day. They will message me their choice. If successful, that player will die.
-The sheriff will choose one person to "investigate" each day. They will message me their choice. I will tell them what this player is - mafia, priest or townsperson.
-The priest will choose one person to "protect" each day. They will message me their choice. If successful, that person - picked by the mafia to die - will be saved.
Further Explanation:
All the players will discuss, in a designated topic (to be made later), who they think is who. They will decide who to kill at the end of each day, and that person will die. The mafia will message me on who they want to kill - that person will die UNLESS the priest chooses to protect that person. The sheriff will message me on who to investigate - I will then tell that person who the selected player is. The mafia will all know each other, but that's it - they will all pick one person to kill (there will be a mafia leader - if they all pick different people, his pick will be counted). Just as well, if the townspeople or mafia cannot decide who to kill, no one will die. The villagers vote on who they want to kill - they can kill one a day.
The mafia have the advantage of being able to kill whoever they want, as well as turning suspicion onto others, but the disadvantage of drawing suspicion if they kill people suspecting them.
The sheriff has the advantage of being able to find out who to kill and who not to kill, but the disadvantage of not being able to just tell everyone this because people will think they are the mafia and trying to distract attention from themselves.
The priest has the advantage of being able to save people, but the disadvantage of not choosing the right person (or even saving the mafia!).
And the villagers have the advantage of numbers - they must work together to reach a common ground and kill the mafia before they are all killed. Because if less than 6 people remain, the mafia win.
