Just watch the replay, on any pass play the OT backs up on the snap. The DE just takes the inside path and goes right by him. That's basically what evasive pass rushing does is try to avoid the OT and go around rather than slam into him and try to shed.

If it's pure speed, is the best way to stop that sort of play by taking speed up to the soft cap? Does the pass block SA help in this case?

Soft capping it might be a bit excessive, just depends I guess. OT's dont get any points in speed on level ups, so you really only need to put enough points into it for what you need. I think ~35 would be enough unless you've got one of those manchild speed rushers in your conference lol, then you may need more.

Tunnel vision only works when there's nothing between the DE and the QB iirc. So he'd have to get around me first, before it "activated".
gah I hate to dump SPs into speed. And I don't think he'll level again this season. Blah. Only enough trains left this season for 1 more point in it.
