So what is the latest on this news? The new message from Bort today sounds kinda bad as far as getting this super conference, unless he feels it necessary to not mention cases like these to the general public.

I sure hope it is a blow out in favor of the sand fleas. Then OU beats them and then there are 3 teams that are 7-1. Of course OU would take the South based on BCS standings. Go to the championship game and beat the piss out of the North. Go to a BCS bowl and lose again to LSU. Tech to the Cotton and the poor ole sips to the Holiday bowl.

Haha I do like San Diego, but I don't plan on goin' out west this bowl season. I do think Texas wins this weekend, but not by more than a TD. What would be a travesty is if another Big-10 team makes it into the championship game, or almost just as bad...SC.

after last weeks display by Tech I am actually kinda scared. But, I think we should pull it off. The first three were hard enough, this is getting ridiculous....and even if we lose and Tech loses to Oklahoma, that better not take us out of the running for the championship game. Texas had the tougher schedule out of the three, so that should help.

p.s.- DAMMIT to being stuck here, thats total BS with the quality of teams we have to deal with, outside of the Vols.

Looks like my senerio could work out after all.

I would hate to mess it up with the Ags beating the land theives but it isnt like that is gonna happen.

I agree with you Count and nobody got back to me at all from anywhere and ther are cupcake teams already in AA all through the divisions. It's ridiculous.

well, wow. after that blowout, the title game is Oklahoma's to lose. I still feel like Texas at the very least isn't any worse than OU. There are only so many games in a row that you can play top notch football against top notch opposition, and Tech was that week for us =/. But, i will give credit to OU. this was the first (and last) time i rooted for OU, and I got what I deserved from the college football gods.

Well, I was rooting for the land thieves, but that got a little out of hand. Now, I'm a OSU/Baylor(not actually that far-fetched b/c I go to Baylor for grad school). If Baylor wins..Texas is automatically in the Big 12 championship game b/c they beat OU head-to-head. If OU and Tech both win, it comes down to the 3 way tie situation, in which the team ranked highest in the BCS goes to the game...unfortunately in this case, I'm pretty sure OU will jump us.

although if they beat OSU too, they might, and if they don't then we're screwed

What I'm wondering is if OU beats OSU, is their win more valuable in the computers then a win vs A & M?

I'm pretty sure it will be. One scenario is Texas destroys a&m, and OU barely squeaks by Okie Lite, they might not jump Texas.
