Yeah i wasn't with the team last year so I don't really know what you are talking about. I know you guys are the team to beat so it would be really cool to be you (however unlikely). It should be interesting (for me obviously you guys think we are going to be an easy team to beat). I bet we're going to be like 30-40 point underdogs.

I never said you guys would be easy to beat. Never said that and never thought that. You all are a playoff team in this conference, and we at Tonga take every team in this conference seriously. I just stated that "I don't think you'll score 40" against Tasmania. You barely did so, but you proved me wrong. You'll see a lot of teams proving me wrong in my playoff prediction thread.

Obviously, we've had this game and the Christchurch game circled back when our schedules came out. Go ask some of your teammates with more experience here exactly why we're looking for payback. We'll be ready come Monday. It'll be a minor miracle if we beat you by 30+, and I certainly don't expect that. But I do expect a solid effort from the Thunderbirds.

Yeah I just don't want to get blown out. I'm hopping for a close game.

Thanks guys - we defended well early on and was surprised to take the lead. The score was a little flattering as you scored 3 TDs in the last 8 minutes - but we'll bounce back. Got some internal troubles which has really affected us, but at least we've been fairly competitive.

Anyway - Tonga are moving on up, and we are gonna miss you so bad, good luck for the season.

LOL, don't jinx us! But I appreciate the sentiments!

I helped GM an Oceania A#8 team (Sydney Sea Wasps) that went 16-0 in the regular season, just to lose the conference title game 28-22. I know Christchurch/others would just love to play the spoiler this season!
