#1 Eleven Wise Monkeys (7-1-0) @ #15 Buncha Nobodies (0-8-0)
It’s a sad day when the fixture between the former Rockstars and the Monkeys isn’t hotly contested but unfortunately that is the case. It’s been 3 seasons since these two first met and up to this point the score is 2-2. The Monkeys are leading the Conference and will hope to lock up the rank #1 rank at the end of the regular season. The Monkeys have already faced their closest competitors and so far have come out on top so it’s looking good. The Nobodies don’t have much to look forward to this week except a non-max out score.

Nobodies 0-255 Monkeys

#2 Orlando Dogg Pound (7-1-0) @ #4 Oregon Ducks (7-1-0)
The Pound has flattered to deceive somewhat this season after recording an early season victory over their fellow contenders the Monkeys. Since then they have beaten the sides expected of them but were pulled back into the battle for #1 after a heavy defeat to the Warriors in week 5. This week is their first real test since that day and they will need a strong performance to keep up at the top. After a defeat in their first game with a top #4 side, the Ducks will need to record a strong performance this week to prove themselves true contenders. Good game planning will be crucial for Oregon as they are out levelled by a 24 in their matchup.

Ducks 21–35 Dogg Pound

#3 D.C. Warriors (7-1-0) @ #16 Columbus Spartans (0-8-0)
They say in most sports nowadays no game is an easy game, however “they” must not have seen this week’s match up. D.C. will be looking to keep pace with their title rivals, and should make mince meat of the winless Spartans. Unfortunately for Columbus the only thing they can look forward to is the end of the season and the promise of Off-Season and one of the BBB leagues.

Spartans 0-255 Warriors

#5 French Lick Dirty Whorns (6-2-0) @ #10 Space Coast Storm Surge (4-4-0)
French Lick have built up an impressive side and should record their 4th straight victory here. They have been performing above my expectations and could provide some upsets in the playoffs. The Surge are a new side and have so far run into some good sides and have had a tough ride, but hopefully they can turn it around and be competitive next season.

Surge 3-63 Whorns

#6 Canton Hall Of Famers (6-2-0) vs #9 USAORG Exiles (4-4-0)
Both sides are coming off heavy wins over the Surge and are heading into this matchup on a winning streak. This should make for an interesting tie, however I see the Famers coming out quite comfortably on top. Canton will need to record a victory here to keep up with French Lick and stay ahead of Murder City, whereas the Exiles need a win here to have any hope in the playoffs.

Famers 35-14 Exiles

#7 Murder City Devils (5-3-0) @ #12 West Bend Warlocks (2-6-0)
Murder City has impressed me in recent weeks and should record an easy victory over the Warlocks. The victory over Bristol almost guarantees them 7th place or better for the playoffs, with Eleven Wise, Compton and French Lick still to come. Wish 13 starting CPUs and the rest low levels I can’t see West Bend putting up much of a fight in this one, and I’m sure the new owners will be looking to rebuild in the offseason.

Warlock 0-235 Devils

#8 Bristol Bullets (4-4-0) vs #14 Compton ‘nilla Wafers (1-7-0)
Unfortunately for the Bullets they have experienced what A#1 is really like, i.e. very competitive, and have recorded losses to any team currently ranked higher than themselves and I feel that is fairly accurate of the league. They should record another victory here and anything less would be a huge blow to their playoffs hopes (e.g. Hiroshima Bomb type blow). As I’ve said before Wafers have some quality players it’s just a matter of depth for them, and I’m sure by next season they will have the problem sorted.

Bullets 35-7 Wafers

#11 Care Bears (2-6-0) vs #13 Colorado Storm (2-6-0)
Arguably the game of the week purely due to the close proximity of the two sides involved. The Care Bears have been a big letdown for me this year, although I think I now know why, and I hoped they would be challengers for playoffs, but unless some more time is put into this season I can’t see it happening. Storm should be going into this game expecting a victory in what should be a closely fought battle, the Storm have already overcome the Exiles so the Bears shouldn’t be anything to be afraid of.

Bears 28–35 Storm

wow - great game by Oregon. Congrats to Ripcity for the turnaround. They made the playoffs last season after been relegated from AA1 and now are challenging for a homegame...

West is slacking this week, but it looks like all the games were pretty boring.

Longhorns Vs. Thunder = Game of the week next time the games are simmed. Should be a good game.

I'm VERY relieved to walk out with a win vs. Little Haiti. Now we get a couple games off. It's been a brutal opening stretch.
