All right, I had this idea before for the whole league but I couldn't make enough teams. So, I just decided to the the game of the week for each conference. So here goes.
Zeta
Vilnius Iron Wolves @ Talinn Tigers
This game was extremely boring (what can I say? It's Zeta), as neither team was able to do much on offense. Vilnius went into halftime with a 10-0 lead thanks to a pick-six by their MLB Skylar Blue. The second half was more of the same, as the Wolves kicked another FG and in the fourth quarter, Elceegee Laf punched it in from 1 yard out. Final score, Vilnius 20, Talinn 0.
Vilnius MVP- MLB Skylar Blue. 4 tackles, 1 int. 1 TD.
Talinn MVP- RB Bryce U Brown 55 yards on 15 attempts.
Alpha
Warsaw Wrath @ Stary Oskol Black Belts
This one was much more exiting. The scoring started when the Wrath tackled a Black Belt in their own endzone giving them a 2 point lead, and then kicking a field goal. The Black Belts retorted with their own FG to start the second quarter, before Black Belt RB Ian Karl puched one in for a 10-5 lead. Not much later the score was 13-8 Black Belts. Stary Oskol started the second half with a bang, as QB de Ouro launched a bomb to WR Anderson Spider Silva for 73 yards and a TD. But Warsaw came surging back, with RB Barry "the man" Sanders running one in from 29. Score 20-15 Black Belts. But it was not to last, as ROCKET BAYOU threw a pass to Sparty Sinkluster 30 yards for a score. 2 pt conversion, good. 23-20 Warsaw. No scoring occured until Stary Oskol's final drive, where Ian Karl scored on a 6 yard run with 19 seconds left in the game. Warsaw would need a miracle. It started when Stary Oskol kicked it out of bounds, giving the Wrath the ball on their own 40. The Wrath drove down the field and stopped the clock with 1 second left in the game. And, on a last-chance Hail Mary play, BAYOU connected with Sinkluster once again on a 35 yard TD pass as time expired. Final Score, Warsaw 30, Stary Oskol 27.
Warsaw MVP- WR Sparty Sinkluster. 5 rec. 127 yards, 2 TD.
Stary Oskol MVP- RB Ian Karl. 59 yards on 20 attempts 2 TD.
