Let me preface by saying that I did zero scouting for this write-up... just starting the discussion this week.
Take issue w/ as much of this as you want. And yes, Team Records played heavily into my picks. Enjoy.

Steel City Icons vs. Austin Longhorns
longhorns take the icons... 35-7
0-131

Allen Zephyrs vs. Riders On The Storm

in a close match... zephyrs prove to be more storm than riders can handle - 8 points spread.. 28-20
41-27

Dallas Horns vs. Sacromento Hell Boy's

Hell Boys find success against newly gutted dhorns (and the t-mo era is officially over)... 27-3
59-13

Texas Roughnecks vs. Riverhead Rampage

TxR goes on a rampage... 77-0
145-0

Okla Thunder vs. USA Eagles

Thunder scores like their basketball namesake in this mismatch as team USA flounders short of the gold... 152-24
69-6

Ok City Spartans vs. Little Haiti Voodoo

OkC in a tight match avoids the curse of LHV... 35-28
27-17

H*Town Hitmen vs. Omaha Mavericks

following big win versus TxR, Hitmen break the Mavericks... 49-10
48-0

Round Rock 12th Man vs. Rochester Vendetta

Vendetta deal the 12th Man another defeat and win handily... 42-13
17-33

GAME ON.
final scores in bold listed in order of matchup

Nothing in there looks unbelievable. I don't know if we'll be able to put that many points up on Round Rock, but I think we should be favored. OKC and LHV should be a great game. I may even watch the play-by-play on that one.

Trying something new in that game. I'm hoping it pays off.

Not bad. But 2 things. . .

1) Austin destroys Steel City and probably throws 100 on the board

and

2) Rampage are in danger of giving up 180+ tonight.

Actually, we are too (on defense). I'm slightly nervous about it, but we'll see what happens.

I'm looking forward to next game. We didn't even set an advanced defensive AI for tonight

Seems you guys did pretty good. We had a very explosive 1st quarter, but that was it. I'm irked by our loss to OKC.

OKC loss stings a bit....... Was nice to see my boy Ben Blitsen pick up 3 sacks against what I know is a very stout offensive line, but I was hoping we could pull this one off.......

I'm definitely enjoying my time with the Haiti though. What a great group of guys.

1st time out and all... shoulda' looked at PF and PA as well... dallas put up big numbers against hell boys (oops), and austin indeed destroyed steel city (nice call lawdawg), but I played it close on the TxR match b/c of my "insider info" regarding gameplan.

Looks like turnovers killed you guys. You rolled up a pile of yards, but you just can't put the ball in the opponents hands that much. We've had a few games like that as well, but we've managed to have them against teams that we could still beat. Against teams like OKC, TxR, and the rest of the elite, you just can't do it. Two of the three fumbles ended in 10 pts, which makes up the margin of victory. Both gave them the ball right at the 50. You guys are pretty stout though, and I believe you'll bounce back well. I still think you guys will be able to upset one of the elite teams, but you don't have a lot of time to get it together with TxR and Hitmen the next two on the docket. We'll start our stretch in a couple of games with 4 out of 5 against the top teams. Good luck.
