i have a slow build guard and would like to know from the experts some things

i have softcaped my str and currently training blocking
i have 10 sp saved up and have yet to decide whether i want to be a RG or LG

so my question is should i
1. continue to train blocking and once i get enough raise it to the softcap with my sp
or
2. train blocking, but when i have enough sp, raise str to the second cap at 60. str is currently at 49.68

to sum it up
do i use my SP to get blocking to first cap or use my sp to get str to second cap (both case i will be training blocking now matter what)

You would still soft cap blocking, regardless of position.
The only difference is that RGs have to deal with faster defensive players.

With a slowbuild, I could see the benefits of getting str to 60, then capping block after that. You also might want to switch over to intense pass blocking drills (blk+agl) so that you have a head start on agility.

Definitely go for block after you finish strength, of course, but the intense would let your agility build up along the way.
