No mystery where we start it's where this column is gonna finish slowly getting more answers on who is good and some are posing more questions. On the interesting side this week in detail at the bottom two big games involving the two unbeaten teams.

Fabulous Four

1. New Jersey Crocodiles(7-0)
Became the latest team to give the Sidewinders a beat down but failed to cover the spread of 180 causing massive gambling losses in GLB Vegas. Now they get a real team though the Hollywood Knights and their explosive power attack. Great matchup
The Road Ahead: Hollywood, Constantinople, Tigers
Projected: 10-0

2. Roman Legion(6-1)
Hung a hundred and a half on the Tigers and didnt show too much as they prep for the game against my Wolves. On paper the Legion look to clearly out-match the unbeaten and some would say untested Wolves but paper is just that - paper. The Legion know they can't afford to stumble if they want to retain any hope of regaining the number 1 seed in the conference and home field throughout.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Wolves, Bocs, Athens
Projected Record: 9-1

3. Warsaw Wolves(7-0)
Well the Wolves have started off the season on a tear just a season and a half removed from "gut job" status it's been a long road. Yet people openly question the 7-0 record perhaps rightly so as the Wolves defense was stretched early against the heavily underdogged Vikings this past week. Reminded that last year the Legion romped the Wolves 54-20 in their inagural game Wolves DC Stubbs was asked about getting a "moral" victory by holding the Legion to a respectable margin this time, to which stubbs responded with a Herm Edwards like "you play to win the game" speech. Should be an interesting battle this weekend.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Legion, Mamertini, Draftniks
Projected Record: 9-1

4. Walterfootball.com Draftniks(5-2)
The Draftniks finally prove they can beat the best as the Draftniks really took it to Hollywood; controlling the line of scrimmage all game long in a matchup that wasnt as close as the final score. This win clearly puts them back in the top 4 with an eye on a matchup in 3 weeks with the Wolves while they take care of a little stat padding against the C-Knights, and Tigers.
The Road Ahead: Constantinople, Tigers, Wolves
Projected: 7-3

Hold the highlight reel a week:

5. Hollywood Knights(5-2)
Still a dangerous dangerous crew after being physically manhandled by the Draftniks this team will look to rebound by removing the perfect record from after the Crocs name. They are certainly capable of doing so but need more big plays from their wide-receivers than they got that last outing against the Draftniks. This week should show if they are as of today a true contender for a top 4 spot, a loss this week and their late season matchup with the Wolves becomes almost gauranteed as a homefield elimination match.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Crocs, Manlets, Sidewinders
PROJECTED RECORD: 7-3

Post-Season Hopefuls

6. Misc Manlets(4-3)
Very quietly under the radar all season long they pull off a nail bitter against fellow post-season hopefull Hague rallying to score 16 points in the 4th quarter. All game long they denied Hague on red-zone opportunities holding them to 4 short field goals and a TD.
UPCOMING GAMES: Sidewinders, Hollywood, Constantinople
PREDICTION: 6-4

7. Iberian Bocs (5-2)
The doctor jekyl and Mr. Hide of Zeta they either look really good or really bad - 3 bulls interceptions took the wind out of the Bulls offensive attack and allowed Iberian to control quarters 2+3 in route to a 27-14 victory.
UPCOMING GAMES: Vikings, Legion, Mammertini
EXPECTED RECORD: 6-4

8. Pamplona Bulls(3-4)
Im not cashing out my chips on the other team from Spain just yet either, they really shot themselves in the foot though with those three interceptions and while they can get by with that this week against Athens, their season will be make or break against Chuck and Hague after that.
UPCOMING GAMES: Athens, Chuck, Hague
PROJECTED RECORD: 6-4

Charging towards the post-season

9. Vienne Vikings(3-4)
Gave my Wolves all we could handle early on particularly when the Vikings were on offense - they proved they are quite potent on that side of the ball and could probably outscore some people on their way to the post-season if they get lucky. I moved this team up because of a favorable late season schedule but a loss to the Bocs and its really just about being the best of the celler dwellers after that.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Bocs, Athens, Chuck
PROJECTED: 6-4

10. Hague Pirates(3-4)
Gave one away with some really uninspired red zone offense failing to score on short yardage situations. That doesnt bode well for the remainder of their season especially when you facotr in that they have to play the Dons of Palermo week 16 while some other bubble teams get a patsy.
UPCOMING GAMES: Chuck Norris, Sidewinders,
EXPECTED RECORD: 6-4

11. Chuck Norris(4-3)
Bearly getting to 100 against Athens actually counts against you and while their defense is still pretty decent their offense doesnt impress me enough to merit late consideration for a playoff push - of course I could be wrong.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Hague, Bulls, Vikings
PROJECTED RECORD: 4-6

BURNING QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED:

1. Are they Wolves really good or is it just a product of a weak early schedule?

2. Have the Draftniks fixed their game planning woe's - does that mean they are back to being a title contender?

3. Can the Hollywood Knights win a big game if their passing game isnt firing on all cylanders?

4. Can the Crocs really go wire to wire and win them all?

Questions will start being answered this week

NOTE ON THE PREDICTIONS I DO NOT USE THE LEAGUE PROJECTOR, so this is my prediction purely on observation - leaves it more open to being interesting anyway.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Warsaw Wolves vs. Roman Legion
The Wolves have won more games this season already than in the history of the franchise - still they have not yet played one of the "big 4", the Legion are perennial powerhouses and it's not the post-season yet so don't count on a Buffalo style meltdown. Some teams might just want respect from the Legion and the league elite - not my Wolves Im not gonna give the Legion any bulletin board material by saying something outlandish - never mind I will the Legion have the best run defense in the conference on paper - this week the Wolves tear up the paper we grind it up keep their offense off the field and win a close one.
Wolves 24 Legion 22

MUST SEE TV: Hollywood Knights vs. New Jersey Crocs
By level the toughest of the Crocs remaining opponents and apparently the biggest obstacle to them going undefeated left on their schedule. If the Crocs can pull this one out only the Wolves and Admirals appear to have a realistic shot at derailing them. Hollywood will make some big plays but in the end the Cardiac Crocs pull this one out late.
Crocs 48 Hollywood 42

CHECK OUT THE LATE GAME: Bocs vs. Vikings
The Bocs can afford a loss here, the Vikings cannot if they want a good shot at a post-season invite. The Bocs are hekyl and jekyl, the Vikings are willing to play all out if they have to. Close game but the Bocs are streaking - with the Bocs that means its time to go the other way.
Vikings 34 Bocs 21

Playing for their Lives: Hague vs. Chuck
If you can read tea leaves one of these two is certainly out of the post-season picture this week we'll find out which one it is. One will get new life breathed into their season the other should start coming the free agent pool for some additions.
Hague 19 Chuck 16

If your interested in these games your padding stats:
Walter 154 Constantinople 3 (Yes they kick a field goal this time)
Bulls 184 Athens 20
Mammertini 43 Luxemborg Tigers 7
Manlets 84 Sidewinders 10

Our owner said it, great writing week in week out.

I look forward to our game against you. And, btw, congrats for rebuilding this team. Should be a heck of a game. No predictions from my side.

I think you have a good team. I just think you wind up 1-2 after your next 3 games. the Legion are no joke, and neither are we. And your schedule hasn't been the best so far this year.

The Vikings made it, in a very hard defensive battle we beat the Bocs by 3.

Great game Vikings, you were a bit lucky though because scoring the last TD with only 5 seconds left is somewhat lucky, but well played.

Best of luck on your upcoming games, if you play like today you still have something to say in the conference.

Well, if we would have lossed (spelling?) 7-3 against you i still would have shout it out. I am very proud of the agents and their players who joined my team.
To be honest i thought it will become an execution to the heavy overweight on chemistry, but lucky we were as you seemed to force the passgame and it didnt work out, except that nasty 50+yarder you had.
