Me again...Conused because I thought I understood this. Last week Rockerfan posted this.

it projects the final scores of games, in which its how it projects the finish. I run one for my SEA A league, and get the same type of replies. You'll stay the same if you lose games you're projected to lose, move up/down if you win games you're supposed to lose or lose games you're supposed to win. the thing that throws it off like in my league is the blowout games, until the league gets enough games into its season a team could go on a rollercoaster ride up and down till about week 8 like the OP said.

Notice it says you move up if you win games you're suppose to lose...So I understood it. We were figure to win 5 games...Now we play Benin and our figure to win 7????? So I have 2 questions...1 How do we move up 2 games in 1 week? 2. We were suppose to lose to Benin?

Man I wish we could gamble flex points on these....Having us at 4 wins before, I would have had to take the over.
I still say ABD makes the playoffs.

From my limited understanding of this rather complex spreadsheet, it is not always your team's performance that determines the outcome of the season. Every single team's record goes in to count. I don't personally follow any teams in APL, so I don't know who wins or loses, but I am sure your teams win was not the only reason you have more wins projected this week. Maybe some good teams that you will face in the future have lost this week? Remember that scoring also goes into count so point spread plays a part too. It helps your projection if you play a cupcake and win big.

I believe this spreadsheet is not end-all solution and should not be taken very seriously. While somewhat accurate, it is what it is, a spreadsheet analyzing numbers. It should be just be a conversational piece.

So taking your team for example, after this weeks game, these are your projected results for the remainder of the season.

It doesn't project realistic football scores. I can almost guarantee these numbers will change again after next game.

The spread sheet saw that we beat the White Sharks by 180+ points and moved us up out of our depth. Well, I'll enjoy it for a day or two. Woot! We're #2!

yeah I guess I should of added that it also is implied for every other single team in the conference when it comes this part:

so if everybody that should win wins there's a small chance for change with the point totals, and all that fun and complex stuff

and also, the final weeks games against the other conference really can't be taken into consideration right now. last season and still this season it projects a team to lose, and that same opponent to lose to the other team. kinda wierd, I have no idea why it does that....has to be an error in the code somewhere.

It simply does not have enough data to analyze game 16. It relies on common opponents for comparison and when it's cross conference, there is no common opponents. It treats Alpha and Zeta tabs separately too.
