NO there isn't. I tried many time to get someone to say outright that tackling does not help an O-line in his day to day duties. All you get in response is some comments that tackling does not help in pancakes, and tackling does not help in blocking. No admin will come out and say in plain language "tackling does not help an O-lineman with his offensive duties". This is not evidence that tackling does help, but I find it odd that they won't just say it.

The quote above is correct. When the tackling bar was removed Bort himself said tackling means nothing.

It was specifically said, this was an issue in the early seasons and Bort said it himself to set things straight, tackling is completely useless to an olineman
