Kings of Zeta
Wollongong Vampires – Still stomping folks, might be challenged a bit by Vanuatu.
Princes looking for a Kingdom
Newcastle Minotaurs – Secured the second spot with a close win over Vanuatu, they’ve got some tough games coming up against teams that will want to prove themselves, but they are 1-0 in a tough 3 game stretch.
Vanuatu Volcano – So close to Newcastle, yet so far away. Couldn’t beat the Minotaurs but gave them one helluva game. Rewarded for their effort with a visit by the Vamps.
SAFSrbija Endzone – Absolutely stomped Huli, one of the more surprising scores this week. Big favorites in the Srbija battle this week.
Walhalla Dingos – Easy early schedule makes it tough to rate the Dingos, but they continue to dominate lesser opponents.
Ambitious Dukes
Antarctica Seals –.Winning the ones they are suppose to, should win this week before a big game against the Dingos.
Chillicothe Convicts – Shocking loss to the Hattrick. Still look like a playoff team but they can’t have any other bad losses. Not the way they wanted to go into the Mino/Vamp stretch.
Tuvalu Matadors – Nice win against a decent opponent. Any opponent is easier after their opening schedule.
Royalty Wantabes
Sydney Hammerhead – They took their beating with pride, now they have a game they need to win for the playoffs.
Fiji Demon Dawgs – Lost a close one to the Matadors, need to rebound for the Hammerhead.
Serfs
Hattrick Srbija – They continue to be the most unpredictable team in Zeta. They might be good enough to make the playoffs but they’ve already blown to many must win games.
UWS OUTLAWS – Another nice win, but I don’t think they have a playoff shot this year, next year the could sneak in as they show consistent improvement like the Seals and Convicts have, but just a year behind them do to the first owner.
Las Vegas NightStalkers – Won a game against the Mutineers. Nice opening to the season but the schedule gets tougher.
Micronesian Mutineers – They couldn’t capitalize on the OUTLAWS turnovers. Might be able to avoid relegation but it’s gonna be a fight.
Cairns Fire – They Fire didn’t even heat up the Dingos. Interesting matchup with Huli this week.
Huli Warriors – Looks like a solid top team is in the early stages of a gutting. I guess they took the Convict loss harder than I thought.
Top Games
Minotaurs at Convicts – Good measuring stick for the Convicts, Minotaurs better not let up.
Demon Dawgs at Hammerhead – Loser is gonna need a lot of help to get into the playoffs.
Huli at Fire – Post gut vs Pre gut, I guess this depends on how far along Huli’s gutting is. Loser is most likely doomed to relegation.
