I don't know guys...they gave up 33 points to a 2-3 Tucson team that NOBODY has said should have made the top 8 in the power rankings. The difference? A 58.5 yard FG by their kicker. They allowed 3.6 yards/carry to Tucson who isn't exactly a powerhouse, and their pass defense was scattered, and only managed a couple of sacks. The defense was clearly run down in the 3rd and 4th quarters as evidenced by the increased yards/carry allowed. If you want to look at records alone, why even do a power ranking? You can just look at the A7 west conference page and see who's where and BOOM, you're done.

Hell, I say give it to em! The Jacks prefer the underdog role anyway.

But good job on the write-ups...and I agree, if you are just gonna go by records why do a power rankings

Normally I agree but how many times do you see the only undefeated team in the conference who happens to have beaten the current number 1 team and played a tough schedule get a number 2 seed instead of the number 1?

Ehh, I don't even care.

It hardly matters at this point. What matters is being #1 on the power rankings at the end of the season.

That being said, it would be a nice gesture, but we're just hoping to go 8-0 (would have to beat Portland) heading into another tough 2-game stretch against the Longhorns and Mustangs.

Fair, I rode your ass hard when you all first came into the league regarding the way the Elves acted. But I have to say, through your actions and those of the team, the Elves public perception has changed. You posts now are very well articulated and enjoyable to read.

Just wanted to give you some kudos since I was so quick to call you out before.

What. You mean that's something unexpected?

Well, it's better than having two losses

Anyway, it really doesn't matter. This isn't the BCS, fortunately.

We find new and improved ways to lose every time it counts. But we're learning. And getting better.

By the way, GG Elves.
