So, my guy is the backup for both OT spots. Gotta be strong in the run game and passing game. Getting ready to hit L28 tonight and will then boost x3 to 31.

Strength: 72.9
Blocking: 75.66
Speed: 40.14
Agility: 49.6
Stamina: 32.38
Vision: 31.22
Confidence: 27.96

Pass: 1-1-0-0-0
Run: 1-1-1-1-1

Gonna finish SPD to the soft cap. Is it now time to start working on specials, or would it be worth it to push STR/BLK to the +3 cap? (at 66/63 raw).

I'm not sure I'd consider spd to the soft cap a higher priority than str/blk to the 3 cap. In fact, I may be alone in this, but I've started to think that confidence might be more important than spd after both are above some min threshold (I tend to use something between 25 and 30). But to answer your specific question, I think that I'd prefer to get str/blk to the next cap (you should be able to do cap str/blk and agi with the 4 levels you have coming).

good luck, it's a cool build, but I wonder how important it is to cap the spd is on the OT. I haven't found a lot of evidence that it's been useful other than the idea that protect bumps it for the LT. I'd be interested in knowing how you decide to go, and how you think it affected your play.

I'm not sure what I'd do in your situation. If your a back-up, I'd consider getting your stamina up to the soft cap to maximize your playing time. I'd plug the first SAs of each category to get the blocking bonus to catch and pass plays to level 6 each. Come back after that and we'll see what level you are at and how much wiggle room.

playing time isn't an issue, I averaged 45 last season and 42 a game this season...and that's with special teams play.

actually, the special teams play sees a huge boost with getting spd up there. my guy actually starts to become effective.
