Anyone who is a returner is not out of position as I have never seen anywhere in the world of football where a returner is a defensive player out of the secondary.The returner on any team is he who is the best at returning no matter what position they play.There should be no out of position penalty for returners.

I Agree with this 100%! My speculation is just that, speculation. But it would explain what I've been seeing with KR/PR this season.

I almost think that Bort may have put a "Out of position" penalty into effect for the PR/KR position for players other than CB's playing that position. With all the Centers and Offensive Lineman being posted as being such great returners last season it makes sense.



Wouldn't shock me in the slightest for Bort to do something like that and not tell anyone.
