If we could get more activity out of the gutted teams' owners, I think it'd be cool to have a daily vote on the #1 spot...so besides the 1-16 rank we could have a true number next to the teams that received #1 votes..and it'd have to be a legit vote of course.
I know I'm just dreaming, but it'd be such a cool addition to the rankings I think, and allow LTD and Denman more time to focus on supplemental information besides just the rankings, because the first place votes could probably help form the top 5 or so rankings.
We'll probably have to settle for an absentee version of the 1st place voting, if ever it were to be implemented.
