1. WYW - ugh. Rolled through Amsterdam like a Panzer division. May score 200+ next week.
2. Newcastle - in a battle of two very, very good defenses, came away with a W. Turnovers prevented them from having a more impressive margin of victory.
3. Brussels - good start to the season by scoring the first time they touched the ball, but obviously still tweaking their offense AI. 342 total yards against Mokum? Really?
4. Rome - low chemistry but could be the sleeper pick to steal the Alpha title this year, if you base your opinion solely on the overall ranking.
5. Danzig - couldn’t capitalize on Brussels’ mistakes & couldn’t get the ground game going. Should rebound this week.
6. Plainview - caught my attention by beating the Car Bombs with a very balanced offensive attack, that’s for sure.
7. Irish - have to be a bit concerned by their loss & things don’t get any easier this week, but a good team.
8. AFD - fortunately for us our women & children were hidden & out of harm’s way, but the shutout was definitely humbling.
9. Donegal - props for putting up 165, but “booooo” for allowing 23. Should roll again this week.
10. Portugal - despite the loss I still feel like they’re better than some other teams who earned wins their first week.
11. Mokum - thanks to some currently underway rebuilding jobs, no longer tagged with 'Doormat' label.
12. Atom - highest-ranked of the rebuilders, which has to count for something. Right?
13. Rotterdam - congrats on your organization’s first win. God help you the next couple of weeks.
14. Trondheim - ‘Yikes’ everywhere; chemistry’s frighteningly low, gave up 165 points & two of their ‘Top Player Threats’ are hideous monsters.
15. Cologne - a ranking of second to last is what happens when you can’t beat a team that’s only existed for a week & a half.
16. Dublin - wow. Just, wow.
