Oklahoma Bears 132 Vs. Milwaukee Mayhem 0
The Bears put up some big numbers in this rout. Whether by ground or by air, whatever the Bears did.....it worked. Also, Milwaukee couldn't even gain a yard on the ground...but they lost 94 of them! the Bears defense really took Milwaukee out behind the woodshed! Milwaukee will look to get back on track next game against another tough opponent...Cook Island.
Palau Pride 113 Vs. Seattle Stealth 10
The Pride took care of business today when they throttled the Stealth for almost 400 yards rushing. Not much went right for the Stealth, but they did have some success throwing the ball. The Pride just proved to be too much for them. Stealth have another extremely tough game against the Bears next, and the Pride take on the Pandas.
Sacramento gunslingers 28 Vs. Sacramento Skidmarks 20
In the battle of the Sacramento's, the Gunslingers came out on top. In what was probably the most competitive games today, turnovers were the deciding factor. The Skidmarks dropped a duece...two INT's that is...We haven't heard the last of these cross town rivals I am sure. The Gunslingers will challenge the Buckeyes in what should be a decent matchup, and the Skidmarks will get all they can handle from the Gold coast Marauders.
Gold Coast Marauders 68 Vs. Papeete Pirate Pandas 13
With 675 total yards of offense, Gold "Coasted" to a big lead early. Dex Rocket Arm proved that he is one of the best QB's in the conference with his phenomenal day, however, Uncle Ricoo was one bright spot on the Pandas (as well as a nice outting by a few receivers). Gold Coast has the Skidmarks next, and the Pandas will look to just get off the field without getting hurt against the Pride.
EC Express 91 Vs. Dayton Buckeyes 31
This shootout saw a total combined passing of over 1,145.5 yards! both teams passed deep and often! For the Express, 5 different receivers caught a touchdown pass, of those five receivers...3 had over 100 yards. Dayton's Crap Your Pants had a career day amassing 227 yards receiving and a touchdown. The Express will take on the Vipers next, and the Buckeyes will challenge the Gunslingers.
Cook Island Cobras 135 Vs. Suva Tsunami 0
Cook Island really took it to the Tsunami with 700+ yars rushing! Are you kidding me?!? Karl Hill averaged 21.9 yards per carry with 18 carries. Tsunami's only bright spot, if you can call it that, was that JD Hall had 11 tackles...with no missed tackles! Cobras will duke it out with Milwaukee Mayhem next, and the Tsunami will get Papau New Guinea...yeah I thought the same thing...ouch!
Papau New Guinea 57 Vs. Tonga Havoc 16
Tonga had an uncharacteristically off game. Papau seemingly knew what Tonga was going to do before they did it. Gunner Moschetti had a very efficient game throwing 20/25 with three touchdowns. Jim Vike also ran the ball well for the Cannibals. The Cannibals have a bye, I mean the Tsunami next, and the Havoc will look to get back on track against the Playboy's Players Club.
Playboy's Players Club 150 Vs. Oregon Vipers 0
The Players Club made a splash in their first game in Oceania AA#3. Rico Desarayez had a phenomenal day rushing for 345.5 yards and 9 touchdowns! Tembrook risque also had a stellar day with 4 INT's! John Nutgrabber was flagged for...well grabbing nuts 8 times today. He also amassed 18 tackles while camped out on defense all game. The Players Club will get their first REAL challenge when they play Tonga next, and the Vipers will get the Express next.
Hope you all enjoyed this weeks Alpha Report...it was actually pretty fun writing it up! I hope it generates some good conversation and commeraderie for the upcoming games....also, please vote on the matchup of the week!
