I awarded a first place vote with 10 points, 2nd with 9, and so on down the line. In the event of a tie an average of the two scores was awarded (ie. tie for 2nd results in an 8.5 for both). Seven teams participated this week.

Well, the preseason is finally over and we are all set for season 5. With the OPL growing stronger this year and the playing field leveling out, what better way to start than with giant cluster%$@# among the top 10. After hanging a 10 on Banzai's Pipeline in preseason play, West Scranton and Mean Machine muscled their way into a tie for second. Also, new comers Melbourne Thorny Devils impressed enough during the preseason to sneak into a tie for 10th to start the season. Again, the poll shows just how fierce the competition with the close rankings and an early season lose will mostly likely result in a drop from the top 10. Best of luck to all OPL teams!!

Preseason Top 10
1. Banzai Pipeline 'Nites 58 (5)
2. West Scranton Invaders 45 (1)
2. Mean Machine 45
4. Brantford Mustangs 42 (1)
4. Tonga Ikale Tahi 42
6. Brisbane Heat 40
7. Grinnell Pioneers 30
8. Vanuatu Kava Sharks 21
9. Brisbane Gods 15
10. Rawle Tech Titans 12
10. Melbourne Thorny Devils 12

Weird list imo, but thank you as always for organizing this, really cool feature for the league.

Well, now we can't blame a spreadsheet formula. Now the Sea Turtles can blame actual avatars and usernames for the lack of respect.

This year is by far the most competitive. The teams, not in top 10, I could see pushing for a title. Nice job everyone on a great off season.

There are some very good teams that did not even receive a vote. Not too many of them, but a couple come to mind. Couple that with the fact that 15 teams made somebody's top ten in this edition and this is a very competitive league in Season 5.
