Trombones WEA A #7 Champions.

GO ZETA!

Amsterdam that was a great game! You did the most of what offensive plays we gave you.

Whupping 410 yards against our D was a first!

See you in AA!

Gratz to the Bones! You guys came a long way since we whomped ya by 15 in the opening scrimmage game of the season. Not quite a 1st though, as we ran up 640 yards against ya in that one.

Yea cuz everyone knows a preseason game is what really matters right?

As a MSU fan, I would think you would more than value the unimportant games.

They certainly did for the Tommies, as even they are thinking it was their scrimmage victories over the Angels and Bats that made the difference in getting them promoted up to AA#4.

Now that we're both up in AA#4, hopefully we can get another round or three of the Reapers & Bones beating on each other once in a while.

I'm not certain, but it appears Reb you are doubting it was the postseason scrimmages that got the Tommies promoted over the Angels and Bats. If you know otherwise please enlighten us, we're going off the announcement below. We finished the season 13-3 and had one playoff victory. The Bats, for example, finished season 5 at 14-1-1 and one playoff victory. We then won the postseason scrimmages vs the Bats and Angles. If I misread the meaning of your 'even they are thinking' statement then ignore all this, but otherwise we are just as curious to know how a 13-3 team got promoted over a 14-1-1 team.

1. Number of playoff victories
2. Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams)
3. Postseason scrimmage wins (not friendlies)
4. Postseason scrimmage ties (not friendlies)
5. Avg playoff game points differential
6. Avg postseason scrimmage points differential
7. Avg playoff points scored
8. Avg postseason scrimmage points scored
9. Avg playoff points allowed (lower is better)
10. Avg postseason scrimmages points allowed (lower is better)
11. Regular season wins
12. Regular season ties
13. Regular season points scored
14. Regular season points against (lower is better)
15. Random selection.

I think he said it, as in it looks like that was the reason you got promoted

I believe this answers your question and honestly should never have been the 3rd criteria anyways.

Yeah, postseason scrimmage wins count more that reg season wins? Who actually tries to win scrimmages in the postseason? Especially after losing in the playoffs? Most owners/GMs are sick and unable to do anything besides sit on the couch eating potato salad and watching ESPN Classic for three days after a stinging playoff defeat.
