Vermont is the team that pioneered recruiting prior to team ownership. They built a solid squad of commits during season 1 long before the owner, whose only fault is being a die hard pats fan, even had a team.

They handle their business on the field rather than in the forums.

Since then they have had an excellent run in the tough East division including an appearance in the conference championship in season 3. Adding up all interconference games including post playoff scrims they have never lost to a West conference team.

We look forward to the challenge as West meets East!

Hey now, i had my team in place before both the Ice Storm and the Where Y'ats! We haven't had quite the success that they have(still not too shabby making the playoffs every season since the team was formed), but dont be stealing my thunder as the go getter!

Gluck trying to post the first "western" win against them

I guess I always thought the Ice Storm was a cool name and I remember their recruiting.

but hats off also to Buzzkill in the "wild wild west" days of trying to get a team.

The funny thing is, the Y'ats actually had the best roster on paper going into season 1. Then VT kicked our asses in week 1 ... or week 2. All I remember is we opened up against VT and Indy ... what a way to start your first season.

Yeah, tonpeat had some bad shrimp and changed it during season 1 ... I think. It worked, though. We beat VT in playoffs and made the conf championships. I think that's the last time we beat VT, too
