So yeah, it is preseason, but it could be a sign that the tide is turning. With Zeta winning the interconfernce battles from the beginning, this may be the season that Alpha returns the favor.

What do you guys think?

I don't take preseason games for meaning all that much. With the implosion of the Tanks and Brighton advancing, Zeta certainly appears to be weaker overall than last season.

I don't really gameplan in a normal sense for the scrimmage games. I'm looking at very specific things and poking at the sim (which always seems to go through some upheaval at the beginning of the season). Not saying that Judah isn't a good team because they certainly are, but winning isn't the primary focus in pre-season scrimmages for me.

Agreed. I just mostly try a few things out and let it role. We don't scout or anything for the preseason. At the end of last season we didn't change anything. We had a long year and moved straight to recruiting and let the games just play.

I pretty much just roll the dice in pre-season =)

Apparently I am unable to price tickets correctly so I am working on that still.

I don't know how we beat the Tanks yesterday. Some of the stuff we tried out failed miserably and having 4 fumbles in the game was worrisome. Really glad it's preseason and not the regular season or I'd be pretty annoyed right now. Time to try out some more new stuff for tomorrow.

Zurich Gnomes abused our OL all day in the first scrimmage. Yeah, we are trying some new stuff but still. I am not happy. Zurich is a much improved team over last season. I can attest to that.

I don't think my team played horribly. We should have won the game actually. Several dropped passes tanked our offense, and two missed field goals early on took away the chance to win. Things I'm definitely watching in sims still to see whether it's just plain old bad luck or something more sinister. Also throw in the fact that we changed defensive schemes this off-season .. again. Not a bad display while I'm still trying to figure out where everyone belongs on the depth charts.

Ya really the game could have gone either way, 1 more of those FG's and it would be different. Heck if it wasnt for our beast of a fullback it may have been different . Scrimmages mean nothing but if people want to base stuff off scrimmage games, feel free your in for a treat.

LoL we didn't even change anything from the last seasons. Tanks scout away, cuz we haven't changed tactics once since our last play off game.

Same with us... Amazing how much our offenses scored this time compared to last time. Our K missed two FG...
