Insiders Guide to the Elephant Conference, Africa AA#3

UN Peacekeepers: The peacekeepers have been a dominate force within the Elephant conference since the creation of the league. Led by WR Freddie Mitchell on and off the field the peacekeepers continue to amaze the critics. The U.N. has only lost 4 games total in the last two seasons two of which occurred in the playoffs and 2 of them to the same time (Comoros). With an elite squad returning this season expect them to hold onto the number 1 spot most of the season. They have a great chance of winning it all unless they have another playoff meltdown.

Top Player Threats: The peacekeepers have one of the top RB Duo’s in all of Africa. They are also returning 6 former Africa AA#3 Pro Bowlers.

WatchuTalkin BoutWillis – RB
Omen Xonnell - RB (Pro Bowl)
Freddie Mitchell – WR (Pro Bowl)
Johnny Dakota – TE
Jumbo Fisher – DT (Pro Bowl)
Cheeks Pounder – LB (Pro Bowl)
Larry Munson - CB (Pro Bowl)
Adam Pacman Jones - CB ({Pro Bowl}
Koy Detmer - QB

....................................................................................

Botswana Brownie Eaters: The Brownies have been extremely active this off-season recruiting many new elite players that includes RB superstar Dirty Dirt Diggler. The brownies saw a lot of success last season defeating the talented U.N. team in the playoffs and putting up a good fight against the championship croc team. The brownies have suffered a few setbacks here and there but should be one of the only teams able to contend with the great U.N. team this season.

Top Player Threats: The Brownies return 3 pro bowlers while picking up one from the Free agency. They return one of the best if not the best RB’s within the league in West while upgrading the defense big time. New faces to the defense you should keep an eye on are the Man of the Steel and Gaius Alexander.

Shaquille "The Diesel" O'Neal – QB (Pro Bowl)
George West – HB (Pro Bowl) - Offense Player of the Year, RB of the Year
Dirty Dirt Diggler – HB (Pro Bowl)
Travis Blackout – DE
Gaius Alexander – CB
Axxzor Asshole – SS
Tank Nightmare – DE
Man of Steel – DT
Laffy McLafferton – WR (Pro Bowl)
.....................................................................................

E'ci FAlkruns: E’ci put together a great season for a team that struggled their first season in the league. Last season they cut there losses in half from the season before and look to do so once again this season and they rally for a championship bid.

Top Player Threats:
E’ci has a very talented Defense and good weapons on Offense. They are lead by there QB McFizzle but their biggest factor on the offense side of the ball could very well be their TE Sitton. They have one of the top CB’s to play in the league in Primo and they should see great success.

Synge "Ice Comet" McFizzle – QB
Big Sitton – TE (Pro Bowl)
Que Primo - CB (Pro Bowl)
Bret Fury – LB (Pro Bowl)
.....................................................................................

Seattle NEThawks: The NEThawks are under new management this season and some worry if they can get back to the same level of success they have had the last 2 seasons. The NEThawks are known for dropping the ball in the big games and many critics feel this won’t change this season. They retain a lot of talent and on paper stack up well with most of the league.

Top Player Threats: The Nethawks return 4 pro bowlers including former Defense player of the year Slappy Babyfist. As always there defense looks great and they are adding great talent daily.

Matthew Hasselbeck – QB
Abd Al-Ala Beshara – WR (Pro Bowl)
Reginald R. Reginald, Esq – TE
Nose Picker – DT
Blown Coverage – CB
Slappy Babyfist – DE (Pro Bowl)- Former Defense player of the year
JustSome Dude – OT (Pro Bowl)
Tuff Harris – S (Pro Bowl)
.....................................................................................

Tripoli Terror: The terror had a decent season last season making the playoffs but their win/loss was not that impressive. The Terror’s stock should improve over this season as most believe they will once again return to the playoffs.

Top Player Threats: The Terror return 2 pro bowlers one of which is the ever impressive Tanner Maxwell. Maxwell was a sack machine and a contender for the defense player of the year last season until Croc superstar Barhma Bull overshadowed him. Expect great things from the Terrors defense.

Tommy Butler – RB
Murphy McManus – LB (Pro Bowl)
Tanner Maxwell – DE (Pro Bowl)
Mike Nelson - LB
.....................................................................................

Iowa Fortress: Who would of thought the Fortress would be among the top teams within the league after being formerly gutted. The fortress have worked hard to improve there stock and this year that work should pay off. One downside to this season however is the fact they have lost the kicker of the year Scott Norwood.

Top Player Threats: The Fortress return three great pro bowlers in Jason Nickewitz and Goblecoque. Nickewitz is concerned the best SS in the league and is a QB nightmare.

Blaine "The Bull" Abraham – RB
Nate Manley - RB - Former Zulu star
Gareth Goblecoque – FS (Pro Bowl)
Jason Nickewitz – SS (Pro Bowl)
Bubba Sick OT (Pro Bowl)

.....................................................................................

Djibouti Trolls: The trolls struggled last season missing the playoffs losing 5 straight. This was a major disappoint to a team that was concerned one of the best the season before. The trolls should return to old form this season however as they rebuild lost players and add to their depth. The trolls are one of the only sleeper teams in the league that could stand to upset any of the top teams. Over the last two years the trolls have lost many of their pro-bowl selections that include the likes of D3, Chris "Zephyr" Fitzpatrick, Anquan "Frickin" Boldin, Luiz Bon. Many people lay the blame of last season on the loss of QB Luiz Bon and WR Anquan “Frickin” Boldin.

Top Player Threats: While the Trolls only return one pro bowler they are to be feared as they have rebuild a great squad.

Dan Fish – QB
Tommy Davis- LB (Pro Bowl)
Rich Johanson – DT
Chris Shutdowncbname – CB
.....................................................................................

Liberty City Swingers: One of the onther sleeper teams meantioned above the Swingers have struggled the first two seasons yet retain a lot of top talent. If the swingers have a great offseason recruiting they stand a chance at many upsets.

Top Player Threats: While the swingers loss there great FB Master Ray they retain the elite G Zryxan. Zryxan has won lineman of the year both seasons and is a legend within the league. They have a great QB and RB combo and if game planning goes well should succeed.

LaDainian1 Tomlinson – RB
Dale Lacombe – QB
Mirorin Zryxan – G (Pro Bowl) - Line of the Year twice in a row
Vitalus Thirteen (Pro Bowl)

A lot of new faces at starter for Iowa this season, and a new shake-up concerning the RB duo for Iowa (Gambia's former star RB Nate Manley coming aboard to share carries with Blaine). Along with other new faces, I dont blame you for only having 3 top threats for us lol

The Nate Manley signing is big, I didn't catch that

I dont wanna discuss all of our signings due to obvious competitive reasons, but we have a few that I consider "big".

NO one was challenging. I have been doing such things since season one just for a different league. My heart is here now, so are my articles.

damn it buddy... can't the Lion conference try to talk smack a bit?

It is great having such active guys to do this work in both conferences. Competitively or not.
