Well we are the Cheap Charlie's Tomato Cans formally known as the Fuji Death Squirrels (we changed our name mid-season last year). We were the Alpha Conference Champions of Oceania A#2 in season 4 which was our first season as a team. We kept a lot of our players from last season and we recruited a solid group of new players so we are ready to go. I am glad to hear this league is no joke and we look forward to a great year of competition. I am the DC for the team while Batonball is the owner and SingleSam is our OC. Our team was very active on the league forum boards last season so I hope we can bring the same this season.
It should make for some interesting rivalry. The Melboure Assassins and Orlando Prime Timers are comprised of a lot of FSU Seminole fans, especially Orlando, so it should be a natural for you. Welcome aboard.

I wish the Noles good luck in 2008.
I'll make I show your team no mercy in GLB.
I wasn't expecting any mercy. You have an awesome GLB team. I was expecting maybe some FSU trash talk. They do look better than in year's past. I was trying to get someone to talk a little real college football trash talk. Unless you feel the Noles have no chance.

No, we aren't going to beat the Gators this season. There's to much youth on both sides of the ball, but I think we will give you a good game in 2009 when Ponder/D'Vo have a year under their belt, and our OL continues to develop physically and mentally.
I think the ACC is weak this year. Although Miami looked good against the Gators, I think if FSU can get their act together, they can make a run for the ACC title this year. I do not think they will beat the Gators and I do not think they will win a BCS bowl game, but if they can win the ACC they at least get a big bowl birth. No ACC team has been impressive this year. FSU is ranked #25 in the polls that came out today.

Miami looked good on defense, but their offense is atrocious, and their OC is their version of Jeff Bowden. I couldn't have been happier with their hire of Nix as their OC, because he's a moron. VT is going to be better now that Tyrod Taylor is starting, and GT will surprise some people as well. Our game next week against WF is going to tell us all how good we really are, even though we will still be missing a lot of players.
I'll say one thing, Roll Tide and the SEC has 5 teams in the top 10. The only reason the polls don't look like that at the end of the season each year is because everyone in the SEC just beats up on each other.
edit: to remain on topic, good luck to the newly promoted teams - it's going to be some rough going this year coming from a capped league to the oldest AA league.
FSU has made huge improvement... Im just glad to be dominating Chattanooga and Western Carolina... The last couple of years we would have only won by like 10 or so...
